“Not all heroes wear capes! After a failed smog from a separate local business where they charged me $98 and handed me walking papers, it left me scratching my head and distraught thinking how I would manage to keep my beloved older vehicle on the road (legally in California). So I decided to head over to the Rusty Piston! I explained my situation and the team headed outside to look at my vehicle before charging me and to my relief decided to proceed with the Smog. After a short wait the technician pulled my vehicle up front and informed us all of the great news! My car passed! I will be returning here in the future for all of my cars needs and highly recommend to friends and family.”

“last Saturday in 100+ degree temperature, my car had a red triangle and check engine warning lights, which went away a few hours later. Yesterday Thursday, my local auto shop, check the error codes and top off the fluids. They couldn’t find any issues.Those warning lights came back last night on the way to North Fork, and the lights dimmed at times. A few times, a loud beeping sound happened, all the warning lights came on and and the power steering didn’t work.The NAPA store in North Fork, tested the battery using the electrical contacts for jumpstarting for jumpstarting under the hood and thought it might be the battery, since the alternator was working. They didn’t have a battery for my car and referred me to the NAPA Store in Oakhurst.Rick at the Oakhurst store tried to install the battery but found out it was an inch and a half too long. Turns out that Toyota has two sizes of batteries for Priuses and I needed the smaller one for the older models. Barry said there might be an electrical grounding or connectivity issue somewhere and it could be the hybrid battery. He suggested I consider taking it to an electrical testing laboratory in Fresno. Modern car electronics are so complicated! José, one of the store owners, suggested taking it to a local auto shop so I tried calling around to different auto shops, but none are able to take appointments. However, I really appreciated all the time everyone spent on my car ?”

“Redman's has been a life saver for us. First of all we have a 1994 Camaro that is low mileage, garage kept and in beautiful condition but developed some mechanical problems. No one else had the parts or the knowledge to fix it, Redman's did and we feel very confident driving it where ever we want to go. Our primary vehicle is a GMC Diesel Pickup. Redman's has gone above and beyond getting our truck repaired so that we can get where we need to go with the confidence that we can take long trips with out 5th wheel or traveling to be with friends and family. Our truck works hard for us and Redman's keeps it in top shape. We highly recommend calling them when you need your vehicle serviced. Besides all this, they are very nice people. We are lucky have them in our community.”
