TNT Tow Company is just another of so many Tow companies that use predatory tactics to steal peoples cars and property by gouging customers with unreasonable tow and storage fees to downright breaking the CA State Law by withholding personal property until you hand over your keys. I personally experienced this today after having my vehicle impounded for expired registration, which is certainly my fault however, TNT Tow Company refused to allow me access to my personal property when I showed up at the office on Sierra Ave. I was told I would not be allowed to get my property unless I gave them my vehicle keys. Don't ever do this. You are entitled to get your property free of charge. The reason they want your keys is so that they can "inventory" your belongings (while they keep what they want) and then they charge you some ridiculous fee for stealing your shit. I had to call local law enforcement for assistance and they tried to tell the police it's their policy to demand keys in exchange for personal property. Thank you so much to the officers at Oakdale Police Dept for reminding these predators they must operate within the law. Not only did they try to refuse me access, they charged an astronomical $450 to tow my car 2 blocks and keep it in their yard for 4 hours. This is unreasonable and in my opinion falls into the category of predatory business practices. Do not use this company for any voluntary tow needs. Even doing voluntary tows are an opportunity to take advantage as I overheard the office girl quoting a customer 1200$ to tow a vehicle 36 miles. WTF! This is plain and simple Legal thievery. Something needs to be done about this industry that day after day take advantage of the system. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT- they are predatory in their business practices. Needless to say, they weren't stealing MY car today!!

Horrible Service. I called to explain the situation with my moms car that got damaged in an accident, explained how my dad, her husband just died of Covid-19, she is still battling effects of covid, and she is struggling financially, and this will create an even bigger hardship, asked if there is any type of discount they could give and they flat out said NO!!! $560 for a tow and only 1 night at their storage, not even at the storage facility for 24 hours! They said she could always sign her car over in exchange for it, yeah a 2017 mustang, WTH! This is a HORRIBLE company that is heartless and could care less about others. Let's hope none of their family or friends die of Covid and end up in a similar situation....... have you heard that song Pray for You - Jaron and The Long Road to Love? I will just leave it there... COLD HEARTED COMPANY!

TNT towed our totalled vehicle, they were quick on-scene, and didn't mess around. The reason for the 5 stars is the help from the staff at their office, very helpful and accommodating, she stayed late to allow us to get the stuff out of our vehicle which saved us a long trip back. I broke a rib, and was very grateful for the assistance with some of the heavier items. This isn't a customer service business, but the interaction gave me the impression it was. Thank you!

They were relatively quick to respond and really made a good effort to fix my dilemma. I had a car in tow on a trailer fall halfway off. It was not an easy puzzle to fix but they did it!

I realize everyone's experiences are different, but wanted to share my appreciation for TNT's help during our trip from hell in February. We totaled our vehicle heading to the Sierras on Route 4 in the early afternoon. TNT was called and they towed our SUV to their location. The very personable front desk assistant went out of her way to allow me to collect our numerous belongings out of the car, she assisted with some of the heavier stuff as I'd broken a rib (confirmed later) in the crash. I wouldn't expect supreme customer service from any towing company, but was very pleasantly surprised to receive it from your staff, it honestly made a horrific day much less so, and I really appreciate it! THANK YOU!!

First off, company and ownership gets ZERO stars...The driver get 4 stars....I recently bought a vehicle off of there impounded/forfeited lot. I met the driver at the bosses house where the vehicle in question was stored. The driver(I assume he received part of sale money) had the vehicle in question running and ready to look at. For the price and purpose, this was a good deal and kinda what I was looking for. After a a brief but needed test drive, i decided to go get the purchaser(my mom) and take it home. I had noticed dripped water from the PS front corner, driver assured me that it was dripping from where he had filled it.... this was my biggest mistake, I trusted his word and should've checked myself. Unfortunately I didn't let the vehicle go thru its natural heating and cooling cycle, because I surely would have noticed the copious amount of water that where soon to be flowing from the radiatior. We paid, signed and made it all of 1.7 miles before the radiator vacated its contents and we were stranded on the side of the road. I called the gentleman immediately and he came to see in person. Upon explanation, he contacted his boss and he said "As is, as is".... I tried to calmly explain to him im okay with as is, as long as deception wasn't used to sell this as is.... after quite a discussion, the driver on his own time and dime, removed and replaced the radiator on the side of the road. This did take a while, but was done and no more radiator water fountain.... now its is as is. Thank driver guy, you may have deceived me once, but you redeemed yourself in my eyes.

Called during normal business hours to find our motorcycle and the answering service they used during lunch sent us to the wrong tow yard. We showed up to the correct tow yard only 2 days after the accident and they charged us for 3 days of storage. Then they refused to give us a copy of the tow slip and because they were afraid to Bad business. Bad tow company. Rude employees.
