I absolutely love the team at family veterinary care in Oakdale. They were very kind and caring to my dog. And he loved all of the treats Doctor Singh did a thorough job. And made me feel comfortable with his care of my pet.

Outstanding Care for My Fur Babies! I take my dog's care incredibly seriously and have pretty high standards for the vets who provide medical care. Being new to the area, I was cautious about finding the right clinic for my fur babies. However, Family Veterinary Care of Oakdale has surpassed all my expectations. The doctors and staff here are exceptional. They are knowledgeable, caring, polite, and friendly. From the moment we walked in, I felt welcomed and valued. The entire team genuinely cares about the animals and their well-being, as well as providing top-notch customer service. Every visit reassures me that my dogs are receiving the best care possible. I feel 100% confident in the medical attention and compassion my fur babies receive at Family Veterinary Care of Oakdale. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking outstanding veterinary care!

Fees, fees, and more fees. I like the vets here but the office charges extra for every little thing. It is unnerving. When your pet is sick you can't get an appointment. But They will work you in for a hefty fee. They also charge to give shots even if your pet doesn't see a vet. Doctors don't charge for these things. Sick patients are a part of the business and vaccines should be encouraged but not here. Extra fees and up charges for these standards things. Front desk staff is not flexible.

We took our older Staffie in for surgery with a large mass on her abdomen. She was treated by Dr. Peitzmeier and is now a different dog. Everyone was so kind and understanding. I can't recommend Family Veterinary Care highly enough. Thanks to all of you!

I had my dog neutered here recently. Paid extra for a blood panel to, from what I understand, see if his liver and kidney function could handle the medication they would prescribe him. He was then prescribed an nsaid(which are known to be toxic to dogs). This nsaid is called deracoxib the active ingredient in deramaxx that has killed many dogs. Companies are slow to report the severity of this drug because they just want to sell it. After the second dose, my pup could not digest any of the food or treats we gave him. Thank the lord my husband and I have a medical background and quickly identified the likely culprit, so we stopped medication and delivered activated charcoal in hopes to absorb the remaining dose. He could not keep any food down due to the toxicity this drug has on the stomach and liver function. All the food he threw up was completely undigested with zero acid/bile in the vomit even 12 hours after he had eaten. There are many articles that testify on the dangers of this drug. This veterinary clinic did not educate me on any of the possible risks of this medication and had zero information in his discharge paperwork and zero information on the medication bottle. All this being said, his surgery went well and had no issues with his incision site, but they NEED to be more transparent with their clients of the risks when prescribing any medication!

Absolutely horrible experience. If I could rate 0 stars I would. The blonde woman who was up front is extremely rude and fake. I overheard her speaking poorly to her coworkers and then a completely different person to customers. If you mistreat your staff but put on a front to clients, that's not a place I wish to be. How do I know my pet will be treated with care? I will never come back here or refer anyone here. I had been hearing a lot of negative reviews from the community about how much it's changed since Dr. Mel sold it. Whoever the owners are, are running it to the ground. Such a shame. My business will be going to Oakdale Vet Group. Disgusted with Family Vet. 0/5 stars

My 13 week old kitten spiked a very bad fever and was extremely lethargic. I called this vet and was able to bring my cat in the same day. The receptionist was very kind and professional. We saw Dr. Dudley and she was very nice. I can tell she really cares and loves what she does. She came up with a good plan for my kitty and he is doing much better now. I would definitely recommend this vet.

I give this vet office 5 stars. If I could give 10 I would. I brought my two year old pitbull here for the first time and everyone at this office was amazing with him. He loved them so much he didn't even want to leave! My Django gets chronic ear infections and his ears and skin were so enflamed and infected and Dr. Singh gave us the antibiotics we needed and he approved me to try some probiotics from Amazon that have worked so amazing on my dog. His allergies are under control, ears all better and his skin is all better. This vet has extremely reasonable pricing and nothing is pushed on you to pay for, only suggested and they let you make the call without judgement. I will only take my dog here going forward. I definitely recommend.

We just moved to this area at then end of the year and had not found a new vet yet when my very special kitty became very I'll. they got us in at closing time ten minutes after we called. they were kind and gentle and informativ. the next am Dr. Tanner called with the test results. my kitty was not going to make it. He was in end stage kidney failUte. Dr. Tanner gave me all my choices. we decided not to extend my kitty's pain and Dr. Tanner helped us through the most difficult thing a pet parent can do. These doctors and their staff care for these pets as their own. Just yesterday our other, older male cat got sick. We were scared! They got us right in. Thankfully our 11 year old little man is going to be just fine. in fact, he is up to his old tricks again today! I cannot thank these people enough. Best Vet ever!! We would not go anywhere else!

Called at approximately 330pm to get an emergency visit for my Husky that had injured herself. Not only did they get me an appointment for the same day at 415pm (45 mins later) but they were also very reasonably priced and extremely helpful. I've been using this vet for the past few years. I switched to them from Another vet in town. Very good people and I'd recommend them for anything. Wether it be an emergency or a regular checkup, they're great.

I just moved to the area and my furry feline was due for his next set of shots. I called and was able to get an appointment within days. Cynthia recommended for my pet to get a full wellness exam, without any pressure or being pushy. And I'm glad I did. My pet had an ear infection that I was not aware of. And was taken care of right away. She helped teach me how to properly clean and care of my pet's ears. Cynthia was so sweet and patient with my pet. Dr. Singh, was also very helpful. He spoke to me about my pet's health and answered any questions I had. Once my pet's results came in, from the wellness exam, he called and went over everything. He also asked how my pet was doing since he did have an ear infection. I appreciate him being concerned for my furry feline and checking on him. I absolutely recommend Family Vet Care of Oakdale!!
