I went into Ulta between 1045 and 1115am on Monday August 28, 2023. There were two women working in the front. One was a white woman, and the other woman was of color. I did not get their names. I was waiting outside for my pick up order and no one came out. I waited a good enough time so I went inside and I told the woman that I was picking up an order. I asked her if they received a notification for a pickup order because I was waiting outside for a long period of time. The girl that helped me completely ignored my question and did not make any eye contact and asked for my name and gave me my order. The woman giving me my order did not even apologize for the terrible customer service and nor did her other coworker who was present apologize or step in to handle the terrible customer service. If you're not happy working in retail, then leave the industry. Sometimes you have to bite your tongue in order to provide the best customer service. It's part of working in retail. If they would have apologized and recognized the customer service issue then I would not be sitting here writing this review. All it took was, "I'm sorry about that," but now I am here writing this review simply because they were rude and unprofessional. Management can you please handle this? This Ulta already has a 2.9 star rating.

I'm always so uncomfortable going into this Ulta, it gives mean girl vibes and no one wants to help you or talk to you. I've gotten my eyebrows here a few times and the brow girl is always talking with other employees and gave me a look when I interrupted there conversation. So okay cool, went a second time because I use to always go to ulta Santa Rosa to get my eyebrows done so I figured I'd give a second chance. That time she was late to our appointment because she was shopping. Idk why I went a third time but the third time she was complaining to me bc I last minute booked her online and she was saying she was going to go home and that that I shouldn't have booked.. like ok. So I really only go here if I absolutely need something that Sephora doesn't have or a service they don't provide.

If you need a quick freshen up, someone who understands your Pinterest board with 1000 variations of hairstyles + highlights, book an appointment with Samantha Gee! She is amazing, very personable, and does amazing work!

I booked a brow wax appt at this store and walked in for appt and nobody was at the wax station so I waited a few minutes and none came so I went to front desk to ask for wax specialist and the lady said hold on a few minutes and I will get her. She comes back and states I was 20 minutes late for my appt and they only wait 5 minutes from appt time. I said well I have been in the store waiting for someone to show up to do my eyebrows! Manager was very rude and I couldn't believe I drove from Petaluma to be dropped off the schedule. Very poor customer service! I do not recommend this store for services. I actually walked over to Brazilian wax studio and was treated much better as it should be! Customer service is no 1 in these stores and should not be talked to in a rude manner! Manager for unprofessional and rude! I will never go back there! I do not recommend this store!

Wow most of the women that work here are incredibly rude. How they talk to customers in a condescending tone and act like it’s a chore to show a customer where an item is. The constant rolling of eyes and heavy sighs. They even talk to their nicer coworkers with this attitude of being superior. These women need to be humbled. Your making minimum wage at retail store and no amount of heavy makeup is going to make you pretty with ugly attitude like that.

The amount of attitude from some of the employees is insane at this store. This isn’t the first time but it’s the last time. I went in for a pickup, stood at the very clearly marked pickup area, and one of the employees looked at me like I was crazy and said “can I help you” coldly. The interaction just goes on from there with her being rude and snarky, then she didn’t even grab all my items.Things don’t always get done in time, I get that, even though it was three hours and five items.. it’s the attitude that’s ridiculous.Anyways, Sephora and Target right next door sell all the same stuff and people actually treat you respectfully there. I use to be a diamond or platinum (whatever it is) member at Ulta too, glad I cut down my shopping there significantly awhile ago because of the same stuff. They just can’t get it under control.

I’d give 0 stars but i cant.I was followed and harassed by a cashier who works here named is “Yanet”,I was shopping with my friend and she kept following us and staring at us while talking into a mic.We did nothing wrong.She made us feel extremely uncomfortable,I hope she gets held accountable for her looser actions!(p.s are friend and I are 14 YEARS OLD)

Melanie, beauty consultant at Ulta, is super nice and accommodating. She had practical knowledge around my products of interest and gave me a sense of confident in my purchase. If I can give 10 stars I would.I love my Ulta Beauty people. I could say they have beautiful personalities,kind and understanding.I have been going to Ulta for years and they never cease to amaze me with how knowledgeable,sweet and kind they are. From the Manager Trev and the ladies.Every time I come in they make me feel welcome. When I feel down and depressed I usually come in to Ulta. The environment is so different. Not only because of all the products and make ups they have but the people who are working there.Of course I end up buying something lol. Thank you Ulta for Lori, Sam and Chanel at the salon who are taking good care of my hair like always. I really do appreciated all your hard work and kindness.

So sad you order something for Christmas to be a gift they send you the wrong product and give you a hard time when you're trying to exchange for the right thingThey charged me full price for the right item and discounted the wrong item I was returning. Made no sense. !!!Granted, we were only talking about a small amount of money less than five dollars. It was the principle of the whole thing. The cashier who ring me up (maybe New )was not very familiar with the product and the person in charge did not resolve my problem!

Chanel did my full highlights and root touch up and gave me a deep conditioning olaplex treatment, it was a miracle! I had previous black box dye and I regret that I did box dye because it made my hair damaged and couldn't get me to the ash blonde I wanted in the first hour in the session but then after the next couple hours, it was the perfect ash blonde! It was definitely worth my time and money to getting this corrected! I also took off 4" and added long layers and face framing so I can have some texture and movement!

The ULTA Beauty Salon stylists and staff are so welcoming and helpful when asking for help for the right products I need. My lovely stylist Chanel gave me an unforgettable, fabulous deep tissue scalp massage with lavender essential oil after doing my hair consultation for balayage & haircut, she even offered me any water, tea or coffee! Honestly she's very genuine, sweet, and always made sure I was enjoying my time on my day off of work. She deep conditioned my hair and gave me another scalp massage at the shampoo bowl, my hair is so soft and shiny! The color is exactly what I asked for! Really good idea to bring in a picture of the color you want.

I was very disappointed in my visit to Ulta today. At the check out, cashier named Melanie was very unpleasant and unprofessional. I brought one item to checkout which on the box itself says SRP is $38 but it rung up as $39. I kindly questioned the cashier as to why it is not ringing up as $38. The cashier responded in a very rude manner "what? It's what it totaled up as." Which to me didn't make sense as the box from the manufacturer itself stated SRP $38... I pointed to her the label on the box with the price. She then said "do you want me to take the dollar off then?" I get that it wasn't her fault that it was ringing up the wrong price but just the way she was interacting it was very unprofessional. I will not be returning here.

I absolutely love it here! This is the second time I’ve gotten my hair done by Lori and it always comes out fantastic. She is extremely sweet and super talented. If you want to be blonde… go to Lori!! <3

I went to get a makeup lesson and some gray hair roots colored. The makeup was a joke. The lady was nice but my makeup looked ridiculous, spotty, and not what I had pictured. I can do a better job than her and I don’t wear makeup that often. The girl who did my hair was rude. Stating that there are gray hairs longer than an inch and that I only have an appointment for 10 min color for roots. I said that there was 2 maybe 3 strands of gray hair. She didn’t even ask what color I have been using. Just started to apply it on my hair. After the blow dryer, I realized that she didn’t even get the color off my skin. I had errands after this appointment and looked stupid. After getting home and looking in the mirror, there were several gray hairs still visible! I will never go to Ulta ever again to get any services. What a waste of time and money!
