They're pretty friendly here. I only go in when my one lotto playing family member takes in tickets whenever I'm in town. They're patient enough to enter them all into the machine for him as long as it's not too busy. I think that's so nice of them since it's always a lot at one time. I don't do lotto but they're nice enough about it here if you do.

Good location, good selection, good prices but the staff are such unfriendly robots you feel like you're bothering them just walking in the door. We shopped there for a year and the staff still acted like they'd never seen us before. Then we found Mike's downtown and Sav More too. So nice to be treated like valued regular customers instead of a pain in the rear to collect money from. Go someplace else, it's worth the drive. Novato is small.

LOTTERY CROOKS, middle eastern or indian. When you win money, Watch your lottery ticket and scratchers. I am NOT drunk or crackhead, it is in the middle of the day. The same day, before I checked a lottery scratcher at Novato Lucky store. The lottery scanner say $15 winning, scanned it twice.Later,I went in cash at this liquor store. Scanned it again $15, give the scratcher to the guy,asked the cashier for 1 ticket of Mega and 1 Super Lottery, and $1 scratcher. He threw away my lottery behind his cashier counter. He asked me how much I win, I say $15. He went into his bin looking around for the ticket and show it to me. I scan it again and it showed "all ready withdrawal" or something. Cashier proceed push button lottery machine and print out $5 paper, but I don't think it the right one. I say ok, so I am confused...Did I win $15 or $5???. Alot of the time I notice lottery cashier lie to how much you win and pocket the rest of the money or pay you less. They know lottery machine they print anything to trick you or lie to you. Or trick you with trash can bin.

I'm a tequila guy, nothing too fancy mind you. My fav tequila is Espolon. Everywhere it's sold it goes for $24.99. I was trying the Thai restaurant across the street and had a 15 minute wait fir my to go order. I happened to see this store and strolled over. To my surprise they sell their Espolon for $19.99! That's a pretty good savings. I'll be going here from now on. The guy at the register is friendly enough as well.

If you like a decent bourbon selection, you should come to this place. It isn't the best liquor store in the Bay Area, BUT, they do have some Old Rip Van Winkle and other Buffalo Trace rarities, like Van Winkle Lot B. Sky high rip-off prices for those, unfortunately. But this is the Bay Area. Still, the other bourbon selections are good, and most have decent prices. This place is a stand-by.
