I have had my car serviced twice at Toscalito Tire and Service now, after my aunt and uncle originally recommended them. I have had a tremendous experience both times and cannot recommend them enough!
The staff are beyond friendly, they are ethical and informative, do not push things on you, but let you make the best educated decision, and price very fairly. Honestly, such a refreshing experience, and I will continue being a returning customer.

I recently needed new tires for my daughter’s Subaru Forester and scheduled a Monday appointment a week in advance for 9:00 AM. We arrived at 9:10 AM, only to be told that the car would be ready by early afternoon—a five-hour wait despite having an appointment.
A representative called on Saturday to confirm the appointment and gather details about the car, which seemed thorough. However, when we dropped off the car on Monday, we weren’t provided with an estimate or any paperwork to sign. I had specifically asked on Saturday that the alignment be checked, but nothing more was discussed.
By early afternoon, I was notified that the car was ready. Upon picking it up, I was surprised to receive a bill that included charges for the tires and the alignment. At no point did I authorize the alignment, but the store went ahead and performed it anyway.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning their practices. There’s a big sign in the lobby about 50 years of trusted service, but performing services without customer authorization does not build trust in my opinion. With many other tire shops in Novato, I’ll likely consider alternatives in the future.

Lee and his team are always very courteous, knowledgeable and expedient when servicing our vehicles. We will continue to bring our vehicles back to Toscalito in Novato for overall maintenance as well as tires.

Hey everyone,
I just had a hell of allot of work done on my manual 1984 Toyota SR 5 truck with over 270,000 miles on the same engine. After going to Toscalito, my 40 year old truck purrs like a kitten; like she did over 25 years ago. Wow.

I brought my car in without an appointment early morning and asked if they could have my blown our tire replaced. I had an appointment with my doctor in 2 hours. They said not problem and had my car ready in one hour! They had to replace two tires, not one. I made my appointment with time to spare!
