This store provides a quality product and friendly service. Lots of stains and finishes to select from. The colors range from subtle to vibrant. Alfredo was very informative and helpful.

Why haven't I shopped here before, instead of going over to Pini's Hardware??? This store is conveniently located on Grant Street near Lucky's and a bunch of downtown eateries, including the school district's main office. They stock everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, you might need for a painting or home improvement project, including glues and resins, masking tapes, tools,, etc., etc. I'm DEFINITELY going to use them more. Oh, and by the way, Pini Hardware is also an excellent place to stop by for many other items, including paint stuff, if you happen to be near there.

Walked in and said hello to the store clerk who just stared blankly at me. Placed my order and 45 min later, still waiting for it to be tinted due to “technical difficulties”. Several customers come in and wait and then leave without being served. I’ve been buying SW for awhile and am always amazed at the poor quality, lots of clumps in the paint. Plus, they do some serious price gouging now that paint is in short supply. Never buying sw again and moving on to Tamalpais paint and color.

As a contractor it great to a local Sherman Williams paint store in town on Grant Ave in Novato.They are a top of the line paint & coatings manufacturer!Best thing of all is the paint rep Heather she has great product knowledge and really knows the painting industry and is always available for a quick consultation.Perry Tradesman.

Excellent! I bought a ton of samples before painting my exterior. They were always kind, courteous, patient and extremely helpful. They ended up Giving my painter an amazing deal on paint. They actually matched a Benjamin Moore color exactly, which I love because SW paint has always been a better quality for me. So glad Novato has another option besides Marin Color and their horrid and rude service. I used Sherman Williams paint for my exterior and separate garage. It was a huge job and the customer service and paint was perfect! Trust me, when you have a huge job and lots of decisions to make, it's nice to have an awesome paint store in town. Thanks SW, I'll recommend you to all my friends:))
