NEVER stop to get gas here. I went in to pump. I prepaid inside. Tried to start pumping and the pump would not work. I pressed the attendant button and was ignored. I tried to reset the pump to see if it will work and it didn’t. I went inside to explain the situation to the lady. She screamed at me about why I put it back that “I cancelled the transaction.” She offered no resolution and then proceeded to call me an “idiot” under her breath. I left the station. When I called to report what happened, the person on the other end of the phone hung up on me. I will never spend my money on another Shell station.

Stopped to buy a couple items and use the bathroom. Employee there told me they were cleaning the bathroom and I’d have to go somewhere else, even though there was obviously no one cleaning it at the moment. I put my items back and went elsewhere.

There’s a young man that works at this store that gave me the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Will go out of my way to never purchase here again.

I did not receive the lower cash/debit price when using my debit card at the pump here. Will keep this place at 3 stars due to convenient location and the employees are generally pleasant.

A customer signs up for this reward program takes cashier about 10 mins to sign them up other cashier is wiping down shelves with a line of about 6 people , the cashier opens the other register, I was behind the guy who signed up for rewards program so other cashier takes customers who came in AFTER me who were standing closer to the register he opened. They’re earning their $10/ hr

We went to this gas station to pump gas at 4:09 pm on 10/26/2020. I gave $32 in cash to my nephew to pay inside. However, we could pump only up to $22. I went inside to ask the cashier the reason why. The cashier, JUAN said my nephew only paid $22. My nephew didn't obtain a receipt. My nephew insisted he had paid $32 to this cashier. I requested this cashier to rewind the camera to see what had happened. He refused to do it. He said he could do nothing. I asked to see the manager or the shop owner, he said the owner wasn't here. I asked for the phone number of this business, he rudely declined to tell this business' phone contact. His gesture and answer was rude. I knew my nephew, a 19 year old kid is an honest person. His English is not very good, just arrived the US from another country. He didn't expect such a deceit happening in life. It was a big lesson for my nephew. On the other hand, I wrote it on YELP to warn people who ever shop at this gas station to be aware of this employee JUAN, his fraudulent behaviors. Hope nobody else would experience the cheating at this business like we just did today. Sue

Came by at 10:30 pm and was waved off by the guy at the check stand. Just wanted to get some gas but he was too busy with his receipts.

I just got back from pumping gas at this place. I paid inside, made pleasant conversation with a very disengaged person behind the counter. I went to pump my gas and the pump said wait a minute as usual. So I waited and waited and waited. Nothing. I went back to the building and the door was locked, the closed sign up. No one came back for about about 10 minutes or so. When he came back there was no apology and he barely acknowledged my presence when I told him what happened. Eventually I got to pump my gas but as a business owner I find the behavior of this employee to be pretty bad. I understand someone needing to excuse them self from work to take care of themselves but the attitude was just really off putting. I hope this review helps improve customer service at this Shell location.

My husbands credit card was skimmed from the pay at pump machine at this Shell station at Redwood and DeLong in Novato on Sunday evening. The next night a test charge was run at the same Shell station to see if our account is active and has money in it before the thieves planned go back to try to wipe us out. Luckily I spotted the $1 charge and immediately called my bank who confirmed the fraud and took action to protect us. Beware if you use your debt card at this gas station
