2027 Novato Blvd, NovatoHenry is such a kind hearted groomer, talking to her trying to calm her. My dog Lola is 15 and is now very difficult. She was so sweet until about a year ago. Now I medicate her when taking her to the groomer and the vet. I'm sure she hurts and very sensitive and doesn't want anyone to handle her face or paws. I appreciate Henry also he works with one animal at a time and Lola's visit is very quick. He doesn't crate her and I appreciate it. The place is very clean and smells great.

753 McClay Rd, NovatoDestiny Kidder Buel is an extraordinarily gifted And effective dog trainer. Our dog is a Boxer, Labrador mix with a dash of Pit bull and weighs 80 pounds. I am under 5 feet tall and was really struggling to keep her with me and a safe distance from other dogs. I hired Destiny and probably saved my dog's life. My home was my dog's third try. I learned to keep the leash short, reward all good behavior , use non word cues and tell people my dog is not friendly. As I gained confidence, I was able to hike with my daughter and her golden retriever. I'm pretty sure I was the one trained but it takes an empathetic trainer to see the needs of both human and dog and find middle ground. Destiny is empathetic and professional. I highly recommend Destiny Kidder Buel.

Finally I found Fetch! who put me in touch with a fabulous sitter who had experience administering the insulin injection that my cat needs. She sent me pictures and updates after every visit, putting my heart at ease! Plus Fetch! sent daily email diaries. Plus they are very responsive and communicative. Wonderful organization!

The staff @ Bridewell is professional, genuinely love our 4 legged friends & take great pride in keeping to their “guests”
(their words) dietary or special needs. The property has a large yard for Atlas to run & play.

527 Atherton Ave, NovatoOur Koda has been staying at Country Inn for Pets since 2021. Natalie (owner) has been providing great care to Marin pet owners for decades. She loves dogs and has many of her own. We prefer that Koda be in a safe place that does not have open play with other dogs while away. Even though she is very friendly with dogs and people we do not want to risk an accident. Natalie goes beyond just caring for our furry family members by giving them chicken breast nightly which I'm sure Koda goes crazy for. There is time throughout the day for walks and free play with the staff and they also allow pickups by our friends to take them out with their dogs t the park. I highly recommend Country Inn for Pets for short and long stays. Koda longest stay was a little over 2 weeks.

When I follow her advice, looking keenly at the dogs around us in any situation, it increases my awareness of what is going on with the dogs I am with and if I do as Kelli has shown me within a couple of hours or less, I know what they are up to and what could happen next! I now prevent uncomfortable situations with my young Shepard mix who wants to herd dogs even! Kelli is great in all situations and is helping me and my son have a better relationship with our dog. From the first session she is showing me how to have Princess Kitty make friends with other dogs! Kelli is a master dog communicator- from dog body language of all the dogs to subtle and quick changes in the eyes of dogs - and is a phenomenal trainer hands down the best I'm met. She understands what dogs at up to at all moments, and all the possibilities of what could happen next. Kelli may work with puppies but she easily works well with my 50 lb active shepherd as well as my son's friends terrier a 8 lb rescue from the streets of California. Kelly understands dog body language and dogs so well she can predict their next moves easily. Great trainer wonderful lady who truly speaks dog! I would highly recommend her in any situation with any dog, or even if you want to get to know your dog better and make more doggie friends! Sky's the limit with Kelli, expect Miracles!

1719 Grant Ave, NovatoWe got our wedding cake made by Creekside and they were amazing to work with. We did a cake tasting with them and had so much fun trying all their cake flavors. Ultimately, we picked their princess cake flavor with a white frosting. We worked with Morning Glory Florist next door to them for cake flowers and the two businesses coordinated that for us. Customer service was great and Creekside always does top notch when it comes to their cakes! Their staff is so kind, and it's the cutest bakery to visit in Novato.

One of the interesting characters at IVB was a woman named (RAF) I have no idea what that means but she was really smart and gorgeous . There also a younger man that was increadrably helpful, he knew every beer backwards and forwards, l think his name is Lou or maybe Louis. Wait it's Luke, sorry! During a weekend drive north of San Francisco, we found ourselves in Novato and decided to stop for a bite to eat. Before grabbing our late lunch, we wanted to try a local brewery, and Adobe Creek Brewing caught my attention.
Adobe Creek Brewing is a newer craft brewery started by Jonathan MacDonald in March 2017. Jonathan was a homebrewer before turning professional. Adobe Creek is known for its tasty, hop-forward beers. At first, they only made small batches for local bars and restaurants. But in 2019, they opened a taproom for the public.
The taproom is in a parking lot in Novato's business district. It was a bit tricky to find, but it was worth the effort. The place has a simple and open feel.
I asked for a light beer, and the friendly staff member gave me a few options. I chose a clear IPA, though I can't remember the name. It was smooth and flavorful, perfect for a nice day. Since we were hungry, we didn't try more beers, but our samples were so good that I knew I would go back and explore more of their offerings.
Overall, Adobe Creek Brewing is a great place to visit if you're in Novato.

I ordered the corned beef hash breakfast with eggs over easy. The eggs were perfectly runny the way I like them. The hash was just like my bubby would have made it. The owner/cook uses avocado and olive oil for most dishes. Very thoughtful about his regulars' health and wellness.

I'm not a beer drinker so I got a Pineapple Cider and for food I got the Cesar Salad, Irish Nachos, and the Fish & Chips (which were crispy goodness). Our server was so sweet and overall the food was delicious. I'd definitely recommend if you want a drink and good eats.

8 Commercial Blvd A, NovatoA Hidden Gem in Novato During our recent trip to Novato, we wanted to try out a new place to eat. We decided on Aurora, which seemed like a good and nearby option. As we were on our way there, I began to doubt whether I had the correct address, as the area we were passing through appeared to be a business district with most of the offices closed and up for rent. I couldn't believe there would be a restaurant open for business there! However, I was mistaken. When we turned onto Commercial Blvd, I could see cars parked in front of the restaurant. They even had their own parking lot, so we parked there and walked in. Once inside, we were immediately greeted by the hostess, a very pleasant young lady with a big smile on her face. We asked to be seated outside so our little furry companion could join us. As soon as we were seated, someone brought the puppy a bowl of water and gave us menus. We decided to start with a caprese salad, and I chose a glass of Pinot Grigio to accompany it. The salad was fresh and delicious, and the olive oil was fantastic! For the main dishes, I had Linguine alla Pescatora, and my companion had Fettuccine alla Carbonara. Both dishes were delicious. While we enjoyed our meal and the ambiance, the hostess and the rest of the staff checked on us regularly to ensure everything was okay. After we finished our meal, the crew surprised my companion with a rendition of "Happy Birthday" and presented a Tiramisu with a candle on it. We had a wonderful time, enjoying the surroundings, delicious food, and the crew's hospitality.

I'm seeing a current trend of people allowing dogs to dig in the grassy field center where the dogs run which is leading to holes. Yes, there are gophers, but that's the opportunity to train your dog.
