This is my favorite Marin grocery store. They carry top brands and a good selection of local items. Some of my favorite things are the bakery, deli, butcher and produce. The staff are always friendly and helpful. You can't beat the service.

I ordered a Princess cake. It was awful. Fondant too soft, no marzipan, no rose & tasted like red dye.

Great vibe, helpful staff that seem to enjoy their jobs. Smaller store but focused on getting you in and out with what you need, and discovering new items you'd never find but would like. I'm a GF eater, on the holistic side. Great tea selection, was able to grab unique flours for holiday baking. Awesome selection of prepared foods if you need a healthy meal.

I've recently started working in San Rafael and coworkers would bring lunch or office treats from this market. Everything has been high-quality, unique, flavorful and made me want to take a special trip to Nugget. I got my chance one no-traffic-on-the-commute morning with an extra 20 minutes to spare. I walked in and immediately knew that was not nearly enough time. Visually stunning, organized , clean and enticing! I barely knew where I wanted to start. I scanned the ample deli, hot breakfast bar, tempting bakery, found a couple items, picked up some stunning recipe cards, and made mental notes for when I return. (For those in my area, it felt like Oliver's.) And as if the store was showing off, every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. For me, this kind of place is specialty shopping, and the prices reflect it. I look forward to returning with way more time!

It’s expensive but they have the best products and food. The salad bar is great, they usually have different types of grain salads.

Way over priced, not friendly staff specially at deli area, bakery, not recommended at all, most of the cakes looks good but loaded with 2 kilo of sugar.

not one to usually leave reviews, but my service at the nugget meat counter was above and beyond. Gustavo helped me and made sausages since there were no more and even came out into the store to find me. it was such a sweet and kind gesture even though the store was so busy. It just made my day!

The Management wants to hear from me re: my review I left about the entire market? Why? To offer me a free sandwich or persuade me to change my reviews? It is what it is. I love going to markets for the ambiance and quality of products. This store needs a REVAMP!!

Nuggets is like a Wholefoods, but smaller but comparable prices and same organic type food. Ok I'm here just to rave about their chocolate mouse cake. Wow!!! It's soft, spongy, not too sweet, not even the frosty is that sweet. I'm not a sweets person but I want to finish that entire cake.
