Dishonest and incompetent. Adam Rogers and Gus team sold me a car without disclosing that the recalled battery had not been replaced. Then proceeded to file paperwork to rescind the sale. Buyer beware. There are plenty of other Chevy dealers in the Bay Area. I wish someone had warned me about these guys.

Bought my second Truck this last weekend and everything went smoothly. Mr. Carrillo was very helpful and patient while we tried to figure out what truck we wanted. Have never had a problem with them. Will keep coming back

We were happy with our buying experience here (except they insisted on getting my SS number, which made no sense because we were paying cash; in fact, I think it's illegal to require anyone's SSN on anything when you have other documents).But the service dept....that's another story. The receptionists (this is in the last four years) have been efficient and friendly, but the service manager is a macho bully, and the outdoor seating area (a table and chairs, necessary during COVID) was filthy (you don't want to touch anything, let alone put your things down on it). We moved north, and after having multiple Bolt recalls completed at Novato, we went for the latest two to Thurston in Ukiah. We'd been wondering when our home charging range would be restored to 100%, and when we went for these last two recalls, we found out Novato had failed to get a code from GM that would allow them to reset that. So during the intervening time, if we were taking a long trip, we'd have to stop sooner and pay for more electrons, ones we could have gotten for free (solar at home). Thanks a lot!

Service! I called to schedule my first complimentary Oil Change & Rotation for Saturday 9AM, I was told 8 was booked but 9AM will work. I dealt with Nancy who then called me back to tell me there is a recall, I do know that & it is a very small recall, does not affect the car in any way, well unless you have kids. I show up at 8:50 only to be told it would take at least 2 hours because of recall. I only came for oil change / Rotation. They had 2-3 cars ahead of me. Talk about over booking. NOT HAPPY

I inquired about a used Bolt they had, and tried to get some numbers regarding trade-in, etc.After I sat there for over an hour and a half, I still didn't have any numbers in hand. The only number I'd seen so far was for a $3,000 additional warranty the sales manager tried to push on me - on an electric car that was still under manufacturer warranty. He was very condescending when I politely declined that.Anyway, like I said, after waiting forever, my patience ran out and I decided to leave. They practically threw my keys at me and were very rude. "So we did all that for nothing!? You already shook my hand and said you wanted to buy the car!" Well, all I see you did is run my credit and waste my time. It doesn't take more than an hour and a half to come up with a quote!A little communication and transparency would have gone a long way, and would have resulted in me purchasing their car and leaving happy. Instead, here we are. At least I saved $20,000, I guess that's cool?PS: I noticed their online prices are different (lower) than the price posted on the vehicle. So if you do buy a car here, pay careful attention to the details.

Started out great - went in for a sensor replacement - ended up not getting it fixed and my battery mysteriously died while there. Ended up paying $550 for a battery and labor that didn't accomplish anything.

I took my Cadillac ELR to Petaluma Chevy and Cadillac who was able to repair my car with no diagnostic fees. They also was able to get extended warranty to pay for $4900 of repairs. I only had to pay $600. Novato Chevrolet could not give me a straight answer to what was wrong. I paid over $1000 in diagnostic fees and got nothing for it.

These people are amazing. I got my first car from them and they helped me through the whole process. I live like 2 hours from them and they even delivered the car to me. They respond fast to both text and emails. I had issues with my insurance to insure the car and they called the insurance and handed everything. I probably talked to 3 people on the team and each one of them knew what they were doing and helped me. I'm so glad for doing business with them.

My salesperson, Joe Costabile, was fantastic to work with, no high pressure, clear and informative. Gino, the sales manager, was helpful, reasonable and went way out of his way to make the deal work. I highly recommend Novato Chevrolet.

Service dept. finally figured out the problem. I wish realizing I needed a new battery in order for auto stop to function didn’t have to take 4 and a half hours. Works great now!

I have never in my 60 years of owning a vehicle ever experienced the level of care as I did from Jacob. He was so attentive to my needs it just went way beyond the call of duty. In fact the morale at Novato Chevrolet was noticeable. Everybody seemed to enjoy their job and it flowed over to the customers. Hooray to Novato Chevrolet!!!

Novato Chevrolet made my buying experience so smooth and easy. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and is was a very nice experience. Rimpy, my salesperson was absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend her high enough! If you need a car she is your go to!

Jacob is my advisor. If customer service was a person he’s it. Very understanding, communicative, on time and persistent, and patient. The other staff members were helpful as well.
