I recently had a service and module reprogramming performed at Novato Chevrolet. It was a very good experience. The service advisor was courteous and completely honest about the time needed to perform the services. I was also provided a shuttle to Fairfax from Novato and that was a pleasant surprise. All the work was performed and my vehicle was returned as clean as when it was left. I was very pleased with the whole service experience.

First check up for my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. Was told it would take about 2 hours so went for a walk. They finished early, when I was about 15 minutes away. Staff was very helpful. ??

So they offer a Silverado diesel for ~$49k. I call to ask whether that's the price. They confirm. I drive 80mi up to Novato. While driving, the dealer calls me ask whether I actually come by. I confirm and ask whether the price of ~$49k still stands - positive answer. After driving it, we walk into the office to talk numbers and suddenly there +$3k 'options' which are already 'installed'. 'Protective coating's for the paint and for the seats (I did not see any coating) and a GPS subscription recovery device. None of which I wanted or were disclosed to me.
After some back and forth, the next guy walking into the office tells me that's my fault because I didn't ask.
I'm speechless, for a moment.
So the price of the car doesn't include the mandatory, already installed options?
I'm that case, why would I have to pay for them?
Also, offering me $1.5k for the Sienna as a trade in was another joke. The next dealer gave me a multiple of that with our much ado.
Doesn't matter now anymore. Bought a Ford F150 on the way south.
