Alex Shih is a drapery expert. I had a complicated job that required motorized Somfy Track inset in Blindspace Tracktrim. Alex went out of the way to find a way to make my unique application work. I started with a different firm in the North Bay and I wish I had gone straight to National Blinds. The project would have been much easier for us!

The string broke on my 8foot-by-8foot honeycomb shade that covers my large living room window. Previous repairs to this shade were done by another blind/shade business which was not pleasant to work with. I called National Blinds hoping they could help. And help they did! Abby answered my call and helped me through the process of scheduling, pricing and the type of shade I had. She was very patient as I was a little muddled having the shade break during the holiday and dealing with new year setup. Carlos arrived as scheduled - both to take down the shade and then the return to put the shade back up. He was quick, careful and courteous. I really recommend National Blinds! It is so nice to have a business that knows what they are doing and provide great, courteous service! Brenda

Consistently outstanding value, quality and service spanning almost 20 years!I first bought large, remote-controlled motorized shades from National Blinds in 2004: 12' wide and 9' high, as well as a smaller manual set, which were still going strong in 2020 when I removed them for a remodel (and was even able to sell on Craigslist!)Yvonne helped me back in 2005 and was just an amazing sales professional and customer advocate, and luckily for me she was still there in 2021 when I needed new blinds. I shopped around a little and I'm quite certain the pricing is very competitive even without the great service, which is priceless, of course.Once again Yvonne bent over backwards to provide such outstanding service, making many home visits to measure and provide recommendations etc. She's always responsive and helpful. Equally her crew, led by Carlos, did an amazing job each time they came to install. The new blinds are even better than the old ones, they operate perfectly and look amazing.Note, I'm posting this at the Novato and SF locations since Yvonne works out of both.

We just had National install several shades, including motorized shades in our home. Very happy with the experience, from evaluating choices through installation. Everything happened on schedule, and the pricing was quite competitive. Installation was amazing quick and painless.

A close friend suggested I call National Blinds when I mentioned I wanted to get some top/down - bottom/up honeycomb shades. I wanted some privacy and to keep the heat out during our hot summer days.
Yvonne was absolutely wonderful! She came to my home and provided me with different options, answered all my questions, measured my windows, and said she'd have an estimate in a couple of days, which was delivered as promised. In what felt like a very reasonable amount of time, I got the call that my shades had been delivered and it was time to schedule the installation.
Luz showed up on time, installed the shades quickly, and was on his way.
I love the shades!
I have no hesitation in recommending National Blinds to anyone who's looking for quality window coverings. If you're looking for quality shades, call Yvonne.

I was in dire straights trying to find someone to install a clutch system to a roman shade I had made for a client. I did not do this kind of shade so I really needed help. After hours calling various companies who would be willing to take on this project, I finally found and spoke to Yvonne at National Blinds. When she said they could do this for me I was thrilled! I sought out Hunter Douglas to repair a cord on the honeycomb blackout shades that I had installed less than 2 years ago. It turns out they are NOT Hunter Douglas shades, but Abigail (the owner) and her co-worker were willing to explore having the repairs done for me. Additionally, they pointed out what was wrong with the item and that explained exactly why the cord had broken. I mentioned who the installer was-and immediately they knew him. He had a new phone number from the one I had used before. While standing in their store, I called him and he's going to do the repair for me. The two ladies in the store are delightful, pleasant, and very helpful. National Blinds in Novato will be my "go to" store for any future needs I have for window coverings! Rather than keep the job themselves, they were able to connect me with the original installer. They're very trustworthy!

Abigale is very rude and condescending. She should consider getting training to understand what customer service means as far as skills. Please see the several comments abut her poor customer service interactions on Yelp.

Please read the other reviews ( several ) focused on Abigail - her rude behavior and her absence of customer service skills. I also URGE you to consider getting quotes from other companies before considering doing business with national Blinds. I would URGE Abigale to consider professional help to learn how to control her rude, condescending behavior.
