Sorry for the late review, there were other more pressing issues to be dealt with:
My aunt bought from and had a good experience, so I contacted them. I explained my dire situation, which was unique. I had a major accident in March 2022 and was more than 1000 miles from home and my wife was in trauma unit in hospital. I fully explained that I needed a new car, and fast! Ours was total loss and I also explained that I had a rental from insurance and it was short term per the contract, but I would travel anywhere as necessary to get the new vehicle. They assured me they could help.
This was the worst buying experience of my life. Upon giving them the car options, they spent all their time looking in the local area (even knowing that current location was temporary.) 2 weeks later still not a single hit. When I explained again the emergency situation, they said I was welcome to get my own car and their service was good for a year! Pretty raw deal as they fully understood my extremely urgent need and my flexibility in location to get a car BEFORE I hired them.
In the end, I paid for an extra month of car rental not covered by insurance, and Hopscotch kept my retainer, and I ended up finding and buying my own car on my own 900 miles from my accident location with zero help from them.
Perhaps if you want to sit around and wait months for them to negotiate deals with their partners, they may be a solution, but if you have a true need, you better save your money and your time. They costed me at least a couple extra weeks of car rental and the time that I did not spend looking on my own thinking they were going to come thru for the job they assured me they could do. In the end, they got my money, and I got nuttin' but extra frustration from them on an already terrible situation.

It was a pleasure working with Hopscotch Got me the car I wanted within 5 days. Did the negotiation So easy my car was waiting for me to pick it up ?

Paul is extremely helpful and I had used these guys with my last 2 leases as well as my husband. Paul gets the job done and make the process of buying or leasing super simple. Def recommend and leave the hassling and negotiating to the right guys!! ✅️

After reading all the 5 star reviews I got in touch with them some time in June 2022. I was looking for specific make and model and I was aware that the car market was/is tough out there. But they only searched for my preferred choice for 1-2 weeks and said I need to cool down for couple months and see if the market gets better. I wait for couple months, reach out to them around September and the person who was assigned to my case, looked into it for only ONE day and no update whatsoever since then.Will pursue my refund.

They put in zero effort in finding my car. I realize it is a tough market right now and I had specific things I wanted and was not in a rush, but, how did I end up finding the car before they did if they were working on it? Not impressed. Would not recommend.

They didn't help me save any money, but they did help me find my car. This was the first time I've attempted to purchase a car out of state and myhopscotch helped guide me through the process.

I signed up with them only to be disappointed. Multiple times they simply disappeared from communication for WEEKS, then MONTHS at a time. Needless to say they stopped sending options and weren’t negotiating. When I called once to ask for a refund, the woman who answered the phone was confused who I was (even after giving my name and though she was my account manager). Really disappointing experience. Had to write for a refund 3 times over the course of months to get it. And completely unapologetic. Seeing all the positive reviews had me interested initially, so balancing this out with my first-hand experience for anyone else reading the reviews.

Jeannine worked extremely hard to find me my perfect vehicle and I’m forever in her debt! Walking into a dealership is akin to a root canal (IMO) so having Jeannine do the hard work for me was worth every penny. Thank you to Jeannine and everyone at My Hopscotch for making my new car buying process so much less painless!

Its actually a really great service especially in the current market where dealers are charging outrageous mark ups. It takes the hassle of talking to multiple dealers away. Even though there are instances where I felt like maybe I could have negotiated some things on my own, it was nice knowing I didn't have to. Highly recommend, especially if you're not versed in handling dealers. Overall positive experience

I needed to help my oldest daughter across the country buy a used car FAST. BIG PROBLEM. It happens to be one of the worst car markets in history. Almost no inventory, brokers refusing to help because there wasn't enough money in it for them and truly despicable bait & switch tactics by one dealer when we tried to manage the process on our own. Then we LUCKED OUT finding Crystal and her Hopscotch team! She couldn't have been more responsive, straight up, understanding and thorough! Truly confidence inspiring during one of the smoothest, fastest, most pain free experiences I have ever had buying a new or used car in over 30 years. THE RESULT? My daughter is now the thrilled owner of a fabulous used car with low mileage, a perfect CarFax score and inspection report that checked ALL our boxes. Even better, it was right within our target budget and BELOW market price. Crystal rode to our rescue and delivered the goods! So yeah...hand on heart...I couldn't recommend Hopscotch more. Worth every penny!!!

I invested several days reviewing and studying how to negotiate purchasing a new car. Then spent a full day visiting car dealerships trying to find the vehicle my wife wanted. Also shopped online trying to locate the vehicle . Too much time and effort on my part. Contacted MyHopscotch and connected with Crystal. Got my wife off my back, didn't have to spend / waste anymore of my precious time trying to learn the game, find the vehicle and make the deal. Great experience hiring a professional car buying service. I am a business man myself and seldom pay retail for anything. I own over 20 assorted vehicles, but when it comes to purchasing new from a dealership, its game I'm not an expert in. I endorse this company and was very satisfied with the service. Five Star rating for My Hopscotch. After calliing her, I was contacted immediately by Crystal, who was so responsive to my situation. Within 24 hours I had my dream car at a price my local dealership couldn't meet. I highly recommend this team to find the car of your dreams!!

After I wrote my original review, the company contacted me to discuss my experience and offered to reimburse me for all but the original retainer. I'm updating my review to 5 stars and I would now recommend their service because there is very little risk if you're not completely satisfied. I believe they are committed to creating a positive experience for their customers. I no longer regret my decision and I want to point out that they did find a car that was a great fit...it would have just taken probably a couple weeks longer to get than the one I had found.
