I love coming to see Michelle! Not only does she do amazing coloring and wonderful styling for me, I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. If you're looking for a new stylist I highly recommend her!

I moved up from So. Cal and had the same stylist/colorist and hair extension girls for years. So to say I was nervous finding someone new was a huge understatement! Michelle has been amazing for the past 5 years since I moved to Novato! She's taken my color from dark brown to Gwen Stefani bleached blonde/white without damaging my hair. Not only that, she's started doing my extensions with these new lighter, tape-in extensions that people are having a hard time believing it's not my hair. I've had all types of extensions - sew-in, the old tape heavy extensions, and even the beads. I've never had it where it's as light or easy to maintain as these. I typically don't think hair stylists can be good at coloring, cutting or extensions, but Michelle is that needle in the haystack. I can't recommend her enough!!

Michelle is an amazing stylist! She is exceptional with both color and cut, and she makes each client feel important and special. She is always able to execute exactly what I envision in my head perfectly and is a great listener making the process collaborative. She is warm and fun and it always feels like I am chatting with an old friend each time I visit her. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone, I am so glad I found her!!!

I'm so happy I found Michelle through yelp. I had been going to the same stylist for years and was bummed when she moved to Texas. Fortunately after trying to color my own hair for months, I decided to take the plunge and contact Michelle. Why did I wait so long!!? She is exceptional. I love my haircut and my color looks fabulous. My time with her was genuine and we hit it off right away. Michelle, please don't ever move to Texas or anywhere far away- thanks!

I didn't think I'd ever try and color my own hair... especially after 7th grade... but a few weeks ago I found myself washing color out of my hair that I purchased myself and looking in the mirror to see bright orange hair. I couldn't believe it, I had had the best luck coloring my hair in the last couple of years up until that moment. Regardless it was ALL bad and I was starting a new job and couldn't bare the thought of walking in like Chuckie. Michelle saved my hair, gave me a much needed trim and I walked out with perfect sassy, healthy blonde hair. You fixed the unfixable - so grateful! THANK YOU!

I found Michelle on Yelp and am so glad that I did! She helped me cut off enough hair to donate, and then proceeded to give me a perfect short and sassy cut that is low maintenance but still hella cute :) I loved that she made it a collaborative process, giving me her ideas while still deferring completely to my preferences. Very refreshing not to have a 'pushy' stylist for a change! I already have my next appointment booked with her!

Michelle is amazing!!!!! I look forward to getting my hair done monthly because she is not only the best in the area for a great cut and color, but she is such a joy as a person! She is a perfectionist in a great way! The person's I have gone to in the past decade or so, never listened to what I really wanted, but Michelle really does listen and gives me what I want! That is so rare now days for some reason. So call her! She won't let you down! Great color! Great cuts! Great keratin treatments! (Highly recommend her)

I have been going to someone for my haircut for years towards the end she could not find any time to fit me in and then I knew Michelle and I knew she did hair so I called her up. Not only did she get me in within that week but now I have a standing appointment with her so I know I always have an appointment. She is the nicest kindest hairstylist I know. She knows what looks good on you and I get compliments on my hair cut every day. Not only is she an amazing person she's an amazing hair stylist. She listens to what you want and your haircut and like I said she was an amazing hair stylist and I will not go to anyone else but Michelle whitside and I truly suggest that if you're looking for a hair stylist you call Michelle Whiteside at le cut of Marin

Michelle cut and colored my hair yesterday - I'm very happy with it. This was my second visit to Michelle and the first time she has cut my hair....and I made a big change! She listened to what I was thinking, gave me great input, and made it work on my head. I'm glad I found Michelle. Will be going back.

I got so lucky with my new friend and stylist Michelle. Recently my hair stylist of 3 years from a salon in St. Helena moved out of state. Since April I have searching for the right person to take over to make my graying locks beautiful and youthful. I begged for Michelle to take me even between customers as I had an important event at the end of August. She took me in and was not only professional and friendly, but a truly passionate "artist". Awesome is all I can say! I look forward to the next visit for more beautification in the future! Michelle rocks as a person and a stylist!

I've been going to Michelle for a few years now. 'm extremely experimental with my hair, and she has been willing to try every crazy idea I have and somehow turn it into something wonderful. She's a true professional, and even when I have come into the salon unsure of what I wanted, she's always willing to help me figure out so I always leave in love with my new hair. Even after the cut is finished, I know I can always text Michelle for advice on my hair. She is quick to respond to texts with advice or product recommendations. I adore her! She provides a great experience from start to end.

I cannot say enough good things about michelle!! When I started going to her I had damaged blonde hair and was in serious need of a new style! She has literally made my hair dreams come true! She is amazing with color and has taken time to listen to what I want (and is very open to trying new colors and styles)! On top of being kind and talented, her prices are incredibly fair. Today she gave me rose gold balayage hilights and I couldn't be happier. Go to michelle and she will not disappoint!
