Worse customer service ever. I was there 56 minutes trying to get help and I was told there’s an App their store has to see colors and when I looked for the APP there were many to choose from and he wouldn’t even help me know which APP. He told me to Play around with them. I’m 60 years old, I’m not good with APPs. I needed to buy primer and Paint for full stucco exterior 1800+ square feet and indoor paint for a home being completely remodeled. I patiently waited and asked over and over after “playing around “ and getting nowhere but frustrated with the APP because it wasn’t showing me what color would look like on my house. I finally left and was sad because I wanted to start checking samples. I was dirty from cleaning demolished house so I guess I was judged by how I looked & they lost a lot of business. There’s was only one employee behind the counter making the paint and he was obviously not enjoying himself. I hate to leave a bad review. But I think it’s nice to let others know that this isn’t the place to go if you need any help at all. If you do, PINI hardware was awesome and helped me learn a lot for starters. And when time to buy all the paint I learned Sherwin Williams is having 40% off sale in October

The customer service here is fantastic. Both the color expert and general employees were so incredibly helpful and patient with helping me find the right color scheme for my open floor plan, as well as which paint types to purchase and their recommendations for what supplies were realistically needed. The prices seem very reasonable, and especially feel like you're getting a great value when they offer such thorough support with your purchase.

I am so fortunate that the designer/colorist working the day I was at Marin Color Service was Emily Huffman. She has an incredible eye for palettes that work best for the look you are going for - modern to traditional, interior or exterior. I found out that she is a talented artist whose work has been exhibited across the country. You have to check out her abstract paintings, prints and sculpture at www.EmilyHuffman.com. How lucky to find such a gifted artist in downtown Novato! Consult with her while you can!

I have been going to Marin Color for years. The staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. There have been a number of times where their advice made all the difference in my painting projects. I would highly recommend them.

I first worked with Connie on color consulting. Then she advised me to get several paint color samples in small cans and try it out on the house in different lighting and various areas of the exterior. Thank you Connie for helping me pick an excellent color for the house and trim. And thank you for encouaging me to try the house color and trim color on the house to see if I liked it. It took a while but it was worth this extra step. I absolutely LOVE the color of our house now.

Wow, I've been doing business with both Marin Color locations for 21 years and have never had a single bad experience. Service has always been excellent, and I trust and like the quality of paint ... I do not go anywhere else.

Very bad experience, i open the door and the guy was already rude to me not customer skills at all, i even say good Morning apparently he did not care , i continue and he was very very Rude, left my sample since i needed 2 gallons of the paint he told me it will take 2 hours came back after 2.5 hours and he told me i am so busy. this is not acceptable i made my point that he was rude and he did not provide good customer service at all. went to Sherman Williams and in 20 minutes I had my 2 gallons of paint. Not good at all i am thinking of never going back, it feels sad how they treat people or at least me. Hope the owner does something about it. They need to imrpove not only customer service but softskills.
