I am so impressed with these guys! Fast, careful and cheerful. I needed a last minute move from San Rafael to Sonoma - and they did a super job! They carefully wrapped my furniture and paintings and helped box the last things for me. The rate they charged was reasonable - certainly worth it. THANK YOU!! Loël

NO CALL, NO SHOW, and won't return my deposit. Do not waste your time with these people, as it will lead to nothing but missed appointments and false statements. As a local business owner myself, I am shocked by the lack of professionalism, communication, or ethics.

We booked Local Moves LLC to move and install some appliances. They were very nice guys, but caused $700 worth of damage to the top rack of our dishwasher - and that doesn't include a ding in the front that happened during the move. We reached out to the company but they ducked our calls and didn't respond to voicemails. Be careful if you book them for appliance moves.

These guys are Legit, we needed to move an 800-pound Vault from Novato to Oakland, and they showed up early and were highly skilled in doing things properly. Rafael was patient and really made us feel comfortable in accomplishing what we set out to do. Including moving the Vault in different places until it fit perfectly.
Leaving the heavy work for the professionals at Local Moves, LLC was a wise decision on our part. Glad we made the right move in choosing this service.

I hired Local Moves 2 days ago to help my nephew move out of his one bedroom apartment and store his furniture in a storage facility a few miles away. He reported that they did a great job and were on time, helpful, pleasant, and even shared a couple of ideas to make his move easier. Local Moves' in-office staff was efficient and I thought the Company's pricing fair. I would hire them again.

Rafael is awesome. He and his guys have a great attitude. He probably and give me a straightforward estimate and then on the day of the move came prepared and was efficient and careful in moving our items. I did a great job packing, organizing, loading the truck. There were a few large and awkward items, including very big concrete outdoor table. He communicated with me really well. He was great for the whole process and took care of us!

$2700, 11 hours, for a 2 bedroom move! Not honest. Owner told me this is Marin so it's Marin pricing... Three other companies estimated the move to take about 4 hours. It took them 11 hours and I did a boatload of work to get the job done.

Made the right choice for help to move 45+ boxes and bins into a storage unit in Sonoma county. A great team. The truck was loaded in about 15 minutes. And their careful packing in the unit left me enough room in my storage unit for a couple pieces of furniture. And I though I was going to need to rent a bigger space. Will use them for the big move later this year.

I've used Local Moves now twice and am very happy with their service. I bought a stone buddha at an estate sale that weighs about 800 lbs. (not kidding)! They were able to carefully carry it down the steep steps to my yard -- no small feat! I'm not sure any other movers would have even tried to do it. They also just moved a concrete table and two concrete pillars to my deck. They carefully wrapped the concrete table and delivered it without an issue. I also love that they are a husband-and-wife team and do an excellent job communicating with me about when they will pick up my item and regularly text me about where they are in the move so I know when they will arrive. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a local move!

We needed a mover ASAP (another mover did not show up) and Rafael and his crew came the next day and were fast, professional, and nice. They made my life so much easier for a stress-free move. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. I give them a 10!
