Wish I could give it zero stars. I dropped off my clothes before a work trip. Picked them up the day before my trip (I should have checked them before I left the store but I was in a hurry). Packed and wasn't until I got to my hotel that I realized that not only did the stains not come out but they were actually made worse! I understand that sometimes stains can't be fixed but they should have put a note with the clothes. Or at least told me when I picked them up. When I got back I went in and ( I think the owner) was very apologetic and offered to clean them again at no charge. That was very nice of her. Just picked them and one out of 3 was not ready even though it was two days past original pick up date. And once again stains were even bigger than last time. Again I know you can't always get thing out but ONCE again no note no mention saying they tried but didn't work just handed me my clothes. When I mentioned it the the lady working there she mumbled sorry without even looking up from whatever she was writing. Never again.

Great place! Employees are extremely kind and efficient and they got two suits of mine dry cleaned in two days before a wedding out of state. Suits came out great and price was reasonable. Highly recommend.

I've been a patron of Local Cleaners in the Hamilton Shopping Center for about a year now and I love them. The women at the counter are always extremely nice and pleasant. The quality of cleaning is great (although a little on the pricey side). If there is ever an issue (ex. a deeply pressed wrinkle or something) they are quick to fix the issue and make you happy. I will keep bringing my clothes here. Thanks, Local Cleaners!

*Great Service, Fair Pricing, Green Cleaning* New in town, I went here after reading some reviews and because it was in my neighborhood. I didn't know they were a "green" cleaners, if I had, I wouldn't have hesitated at all. I was greeted warmly by the owner, dropped off my dry cleaning and an alteration. When I picked up the pieces, I wasn't happy with the hemming. After a small amount of back and forth, with me explaining why I was unhappy (some of the thread showing through), the woman at the desk called the owner, who promptly waived the alteration fee. I think the pricing in fair and I was happy with the dry cleaning. I very much appreciate the refund. I will return and highly recommend.

Honesty at its best. I've worked in Novato for over a year now and have been going to this local cleaners spot. Although overpriced, they've done a good job with most of my dry cleaning. A few months ago, I took a winter jacket of mine with a furry hood (originally cost $200 or so) to get dry cleaned. When I went to pick up my jacket, the fur had completely burned! The furry hood was the best part of the jacket and now it was ruined. What upset me most is that the lady who works there wouldn't admit that the jacket hood was ruined (when it was VERY apparent that the fur had completely been ruined - she just kept acting dumb). She did not take ANY ownership of ruining it nor did she just say "hey, give it to me and we'll realign it". I went to a fabric store myself and bought more fur so that they can realign it. They covered the realigning part (phew!) and she promised me before I went to buy the new fabric that she'd cover it. I bought the extra fabric and when I went in she said she would only pay for half (liar!). So not only did I pay $20 to dry clean a jacket that they ruined - I didn't have a winter coat for 3 months - AND I had to pay for half the new fabric myself! This is not how you run a business! The new fabric was around $35. She said she'd pay for half and after all I had to go through I said "how about you give me $20" and she said "$17.50". I was so frustrated I took the $17.50 and left. This is being cheap and not taking ANY ownership of ruining someones coat. The coat getting damaged might not have been her direct fault, but the way she handled the situation just lost her a customer.

I love going into Local Cleaners because they are always so friendly and kind to me when I arrive. They are a little more expensive than other places in the downtown area, but all of there equipment is new, ultra clean and have the best customer service bar none.

i can't believe no one's yelped this place yet... the scenario: we had to go to a wedding at 4PM. at noon, the bf realized he lost his suit jacket, had to buy a brand new suit. suit pants were way too long, need hemming ASAP. we stopped at local cleaners around 12:40PM and prayed someone can hemmed the pants by 2PM. the event: we were greeted by this sweet woman right as we walked in, giggled with us at our last minute mission with no time to waste. at first she said she couldn't do it, but with a few more smiles from us, she agreed. she told us the pants won't be done by 2PM, we plead some more and said we have to be on the road by 2PM. she said she'll call us when the pants were ready. we went home and crossed our fingers. the result: phone rang around 1:30PM to tell us the pants were ready!! although this was a rushed job, she did a FABULOUS one! all for $13! thank you, local cleaner lady! we'll come back for sure! :)
