Erica. Ask for Erica. Before I go into why you should ask for Erica - she cut my hair for my 6th, yes SIXTTH donation of 12" or more to CHILDREN WITH HAIR LOSS. MY hair will once again provide a $1500 natural hair wig to a child at no cost to their family. I am happy to know my donation will remind a young child there is still kindness in the world. You can donate any length but little girls wish for long hair so I wait until I have enough to ensure they get their wish for a curtain-like princess hair wig. You can also donate cash (use your corporate dollar match). Ok back to Erica. To be fair I do not know any of the other ladies at the salon but Erica is amazing. She is really nice to chat with and I enjoyed learning more about my hair from someone with a wealth of knowledge about this really important topic. I think we already know how much I love my hair. The reason I love my hair is because of skilled, educated professionals like Erica who teach me about my hair texture and how to get it to do what I want it to do, look how I want it to look, and continue to grow the way I want it to grow. Erica is passionate about her work and it shows. I love love love my short haircut! Last year I had a lob - this year she gave me an on trend for 2023 choppy bob I am super confident my will grow the way I want it to grow so I can donate again next year. Erica took the time to understand my hair texture, my wash and style habits, and basically how I wanted my hair to perform. I learned so much and I got some cool tips and tricks! The salon is adorable - it's looks like a boutique with thoughtful decorative touches you eye catches while your hair is being worked on. Everyone I encountered was a friendly face. The vibe is a chill, neighborhood spot so wear your comfy clothes - prepared to have a relaxing hair appointment. Prices match what I pay in the city as did Erica's high skill level. No one cared I was masked - which I appreciated so much. Enjoy the free convenient parking right outside. You can pay all kinds of ways: Venmo, cc, cash. Attn: Shop Owner - I don't know how well any of the ladies do hair. The 1 star is for your shop's unprofessional service before I could even get my foot in the door. I left a message with the shop to schedule a partial highlight. They did not return my call for 2 days so I called again. As I was leaving another message, someone picked up the phone and said that I was the last one to call back as she had returned all the other messages, but she forgot to call me back. So, I made the appointment with Susan. Four days prior to my appointment, I had to cancel due to work. I left 2 messages on Susan's personal cell phone, and she has not returned my calls. I also left 2 messages on the shop voicemail. Neither have returned my calls. I was trying to be courteous by calling several times so that they they have enough time to fill my spot. However, since they were not professional in returning my 4 calls, I will not be rescheduling an appointment at this shop. I see there's are a few other customers that have commented on this issue. I know I will be telling my friends of your shop's unprofessional service.

This is the second time I've tried to call them to book an appt and no return call. Not very professional. The stylist I was looking to meet did not have her own number or ext. on the website so I had to call the general number. I won't be trying them again.

Got my hair cut after way too long in the pandemic and Shannon Debin was amazing! Can't recommend her work highly enough. The salon is also a lovely setting - spacious and comfortable. ? All around! I'll be back for sure.

I had very dull gray hair. Look at it Now !!! Ashley Hiatt at L Paradis Salon in Novato has seriously Transformed my dull lifeless hair into a Masterpiece . She is really unbelievably talented with color. Bring her your dreams and she can bring them to life !!!

I had an overall good experience here but not exemplary. I went shortly before the new shutdown, in November. Ive been very strict about isolating during covid except to come here to get my hair cut; it was so long it was giving me headaches and driving me crazy. - From a covid safety standpoint, I felt they did okay. They obviously put in effort to distance the chairs and sanitize, but it's a big and busy salon so there's only so much you can do! - My stylist was friendly, and I loved the treat of someone else caring for me, washing my hair etc. - My haircut itself was just okay. It was reminiscent of the cuts I used to get in college at my $30 berkeley salon. Gets the job done but doesn't stand out. This cut was $100. For the price, I didn't feel it was anything special.

I've been meaning to do this for awhile, but with COVID restrictions on salons I waited...but if you have long hair, Brie Zunino is your girl! She knows how to cut it so it feels thick, silky, healthy, and precisely and neatly cleaned up without being chopped to pieces, and losing precious inches. I always hated getting a haircut from stylists who were scissors-happy so when I left, half my hair had been chopped off and over-blown and I looked like a soccer Mom (apologies to soccer Moms, but that's not my look!) Brie is also a great colorist, whether hiding the gray roots or adding some spark with highlights, the outcome is subtle and glamorous! So happy we have this kind of talent in Novato! No need to go to the City for a top notch stylist!
