Jorge has been keeping my 2008 BMW going strong for many years. Now that it is time to replace it, there is no one I trust more for the pre-purchase inspection than him. Krissy in the front office is great too. It isn't as convenient for me now that I work in Petaluma and live in Vallejo, but I am not willing to take a chance with any other repair shop.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

After recently purchasing a used Subaru, I needed to get some things taken care of and looked at ASAP. J.E.V. took me in the same day, and were able to get me the services i needed fast. Although some issues were brought to my attention, they were not pushy and let me get what I needed which helped me feel like they cared. The small commute to Novato is well worth the price, work, and attitude that Chrissy and her team provide.

When I got into my 2012 Honda Fit with manual transmission and pressed down on the clutch, I detected resistance that had not been there before. I didn't seem to have any problem shifting, except that it had become awkward, which I attributed to the strange feel of the clutch. After a couple of days driving like this, I took it into the shop I had been using for over two decades. They told me that two of their mechanics test-drove it and found that it shifted more smoothly than their own vehicles; they detected nothing wrong with it. So when, within a day or two of taking it home from the shop, I started having serious difficulty shifting, I wondered if there was some psychological thing going on in my head--until I had a friend drive the car and confirm that a serious problem existed. Having lost confidence in my old shop, I found a new mechanic through Yelp. Turned out that he no longer worked on transmissions, but when I asked him for a recommendation, he sent me to J.E.V. That was a great call. Jorge could immediately tell what was going on, explained it all to me, discussed what was involved and how long he would need the car to repair it properly, did his best to accommodate my schedule, and ultimately provided me with an estimate, which turned out to be the actual price I paid. It's been over a month since the repairs and everything works great. And I have a new mechanic.

I have been known George for over 10 years now, and haven't seen most professional and honest person. And his knowledge of German cars are unparalleled. Will use his services on my two Mercedeses in foreseen future, even though it's long way for me to drive.
