Though the doctor is very nice, her office, I find very disgusting and not clean the floor. Looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in weeks. I went a couple times and just did not feel safe having somebody do acupuncture and bloodletting with this lack of cleanliness. I chose to go to another acupuncturist, one that had a little cleaner office.

Dr. Wu is the real deal. I have never met someone so passionate about healing. She has literally saved my life. She is both schooled in Western and Eastern Medicine. Don’t hesitate to go to her if you really want to heal. She not only practices acupuncture or cupping in her office, but will give you herbs, teas and tea pills to go home and continue your healing. And yes, she does make house calls (even in Rehab facilities - she takes away pain). And she does answer her phone! Best doctor/healer, hands down.(ps) I even know acupuncturists that go to her “on the side” when they need to heal, just sayin’

Dr. Joy Wu is the real deal. She is both schooled in Western and Eastern medicine. She looks at your constitution and goes from there. Joy literally saved my life during Covid and when my friend had broken her ankle, she quickly removed the pain so she could walk again. In my many years, I have not meant someone so passionate about healing. I have literally witnessed Dr. Wu go to Rehab facilities and heal people. (yes, she even makes house calls!) I have seen her turn around Cancer, Flus and a variety of illnesses as well as pain. She combines many treatment modalities with acupuncture, then sends you along with herbs or tea pills for home treatments. Dr. Wus passion to heal and knowledge of medicine you just don't find anymore. She works with you. So if you want health for you and/or your family, go to Dr. Wu. You won't be disappointed. (ps) Marin acupuncturists even go to her ("on the side") if they need healing (ps) She answers her phone and gives you direct service!

Joy is an exceptionally skilled and intuitive Acupuncturist & Herbalist. She helped me recover from a back injury, and in the process also relieved my constant headaches. A great choice for anyone looking to treat their health naturally!

I've known Dr Joy for several years and am always amazed by her knowledge of TCM, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and she grew up with the old ways in a multi-generation home in China, so she is authentically steeped in this ancient wisdom. I had a fall and injured knee, very swollen, and in one session (yesterday) it looks and feels much better, swelling is down and she gave me delicious tea I prepared at home, and she encouraged me to use moxa at home too (Chinese herbal treatment), all of which have helped. I will go back in a few days to continue the healing. You can learn a lot from Dr Wu in addition to your treatment, and I too, like the cupping treatment on my back, it feels very invigorating. There are different styles of acupuncture, her style is more strong, so discuss your issue first so you feel comfortable with this modality, and consider doing some of the self care, lifestyle recommendations and herbs at home to increase the benefit.

I just had my first cupping sessions and Dr. Joy is just as her name - a Joy!Although I was a tad nervous when it started but feeling quite the relief just a couple of days later. I have had chronic upper back pain that comes and goes and Joy knows exactly where the pain points are. I’d certainly recommend Joy to anyone with chronic pain!

I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and arrived at the place, waited for at least 20mins, and no one was there to help or at least tell me what to expect. Do not recommend this place!

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN: DO NOT GO! I just had the scariest experience here and I have had over a hundred of doctor visits being someone who lives with chronic illness and pain. The office was dirty, there were needles on the ground, the practitioner was rude, gave me zero examination, confused me with another client and was unclear about my insurance after I told her several times. She was coughing on top of everything and ignoring me when I asked if the sheets were clean on the table. She aggressively put needles in my body and when I told her some of them hurt, she ignored me. I told her after a couple of needles that I wanted to go. She just took them out and walked out the door. I am going to try to report her further because this place is unethical and even more dangerous given that we have been in a pandemic for over 2-years! I am now going to get covid tested and washing everything I was wearing/ touching because there was zero covid awareness or respect.

If I had the choice I would not give a single review to this acupuncturist. She saw elderly my mother for arthritis pain and proceeded to do cupping treatment on her even though my mom disclosed that she was taking blood thinners. While this may not be a common knowledge for everyone, anybody who practices this "therapy" should know that there is a contraindication for patients who take anticoagulants as this treatment can cause blood clots.

I wholeheartedly give Dr. Wu's clinic five stars (I wish I could give her more)! Struggling with cystic acne since I was in seventh grade, I have tried many things to help clear it up, including visiting the dermatologist, colonics, facials, tropical prescriptions, pricey skin care products, etc. Nothing seemed to work, and I grew increasingly frustrated. I finally decided to go down the more holistic path and started looking at acupuncturists in the area. After looking at all of Dr. Wu's glowing five-star reviews, I knew I had to see her. Dr. Wu instantly knew what to do, and started me on a routine of acupuncture, cupping, Chinese herbs, and changing my diet. After the first session, I noticed an immediate improvement and after a couple of sessions, I was shocked at the results. My skin started instantly clearing up, with far fewer painful cystic pimples forming on my cheeks, and the hyperpigmentation also brightened tremendously. After two months of consistent treatment, I can say that my skin is the clearest it has been in years. When I looked in the mirror today, I did not recognize myself. Dr. Wu gave up a lucrative career in molecular biology, working at institutions such as UCSF and the Buck Institute to name a few, to follow a spiritual calling to start a clinic to heal people. She has not only a PHD in molecular biology, but a master's and PHD in Traditional Chinse Medicine or TCM. She is quite knowledgeable about the human body, and I feel very comfortable with her giving me herbal medicine and giving me advice. She has a lengthy list of people (as well as dogs!) that she has healed from many diseases. Out of the goodness of her heart, she has healed dogs that were going to be put down, and now they are acting like puppies again. Dr. Wu is passionate about passing down Taoist wisdom to her clients who want to learn more about Taoist teachings and practices. She also cares deeply about the elderly and has a program geared toward them in her non-profit organization called the Heavenly Joy Institute. She also is an incredibly good listener and makes sure that she answers any questions that you may have. I am very grateful to her and Mong (her helping hand) for healing my acne. I will also add that Mong is very helpful as well and has given me massages and showed me helpful exercises to correct my posture. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Wu's help, support, and guidance, and know that she is a blessing from God. She is such a gifted healer, along with Mong, and I am so grateful to have met such wonderful, loving, intelligent, and talented individuals. If anyone is on the fence about visiting Dr. Wu's clinic, let this be a sign to book an appointment with her and see her, because she is a truly gifted healer!
