We brought in a watch to reattach the bezel (glass cover on the watch). Previously (within the last year or so) another jeweler had reattached in "on the spot" for $10, but Gold Rush said it would take three days and cost $25 (should have been a warning sign right there). When we came to pick it up three days later, all of a sudden the price was now $35 PLUS tax --- which should not legally be charged on a service, only on the purchase of goods. When we said they had quoted $25 for the repair, they backed down --- but still insisted on charging tax. The reason for this??? They said while they were doing the repair, two of the numbers on the watch had fallen off and they had to put "resin" on to reattach them --- so that was the "goods" they were charging for. What a bunch of BS. We much prefer to do business with HONEST people so definitely do NOT recommend.

I sent a quote request before coming in and received a response pretty soon after that. I came in and the person in charge of replacing watch batteries was on lunch break so I came back 30 minutes later and it was finished! They also adjusted the date on my watch too. I'm happy with their service!

this place is such a wonderful hidden gem! i felt very welcomed upon walking in by both of the sales consultants, Monique and Taylor. genuine smiles and best-in-class service! love how friendly both of these gals are and i felt very comfortable taking my tiime in looking everything over. they have a lovely collection of beautiful jewelry, watches, and some figurines as well. i looked at several pieces and i absolutely fell in love with a necklace. Monique and Taylor were beyond patient with helping me to own this beautiful piece. i could not afford to get both the pendant as well as the chain, but they were very accommodating to my needs and had their very skilled in-house jeweler, Kam, remove the chain it came on so that i could just purchase the gorgeous pendant only (which is my birthstone, a gorgeous garnet). grateful to both Monique and Tayor for providing me with best-in-class service so that i could own this distinctive piece! totally unexpected blessing since i only really came in to inquire about a watch battery change (which they also do-thank you!). thank you again Kam, in-house jeweler, for being able to remove the chain from the pendant and so quickly! i can't tell you what a breath of fresh air this jewelry boutique is for hiring such genuinely wonderful people who are truly caring, patient, and want what's best for their customers. i would give it more stars if i could! God bless you and this wonderful business/staff who knows how to treat folks right!

I needed an Omega watch sized. Not an easy task. Stephen did it for me and the work was good. I was told I could live with it for a week and see if any fine adjustments needed to be made for comfort.Great going local.

I went in hopes to sell my 14 karat gold pieces, earrings with no pair, gold chains, rings, just odd pieces to get rid off. The lady in charged told me and I quote: " 14 karat is not really gold" I wonder if they tell the same to their clients that are about to purchase a 14 karat piece of jewelry. The lady was rude, unpleasant and so full of herself, when I ask how much did my pieces weighted, she replied: there is no need to weight we can give you any price we want, because we can do whatever we want, so unpleasant, obnoxious and in a way so diminished.

Took my Na Hoku necklace here to replace a broken clasp. They put a different style clasp on it without informing me or confirming I would be ok with that. When I went in to get the right clasp they questioned why I would want the same original style clasp. And why that would be important. They were difficult and even rude about having to order the right clasp as if I was expecting something unreasonable. Horrible service basically treating me as if how dare I question them.

I take all my new watches h'ere if I need them sized and adjusted and everytime the people there are friendly, helpful and patient. This time, Jonathan helped me and we needed to adjust the bracelet band 3 times to get it to fit to my liking and he was as courteous as can be and wasn't bothered (that I know of) by the adjustment process back and forth. I (and my mother) will continue to give this establishment our business. This is also a great place to get a new battery installed in watches as they are reasonably priced and do it while you wait.

Brought in TWO watches that needed batteries changed. Not only were they both changed in minutes, the jeweler was able to set my date/day calendar watch (analog) in a flash, saving me tons of time!

Granted I only had some watch batteries replaced and one link taken out of one band, but I wanted to leave this review because the young man who helped me (I wish I asked his name to give him due props) was extremely helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable, and the repairs were done really quickly. I will certainly go back if I need anything jewelry/watch related.
