Bank is fine, but the one walk up ATM outside is the world's slowest machine; it takes literally five minutes per transaction and gets stuck on each loading screen, particularly the "finalizing deposit" step. Standing out there while trying to deposit money after dark gets dicey. Probably needs updating.

Hmmm... I'm extremely surprised of the low rating BUT certainly was not my experience today. So... I admittedly bank with another major bank, but today I opened a business account with Chase under duress (by my old..er sister). We initially went to the branch off of Grant where I initially (YEARS ago) experienced horrible service, but thankfully they were closed for whatever reasons which lead us to Ignacio branch. We didn't make an appointment and wasn't brushed away but rather greeted and assisted by Victor. His professionalism and nice mix of being personable was absolutely amazing and so appreciated. He was efficient, communicated very well, and made this experience refreshing after working with other major banks with service issues. The greeter at the front door made us feel like we were seen and welcomed. We entered the front doors 3 times, and each time he didn't miss a beat in welcoming us. GREAT job to this team - very well managed! Thank you Victor for your patience and impeccable service!

I was actually impressed with the level of service compared to what I know is common (I'm in banking myself) and certainly the Chase online service when you send a secure message. I don't recall the reps name, but when I called a second time and got through to the direct line (now listed online, not just an 800#) they listened and understood my complaint. Granted I also mentioned legally Chase should clearly state what fees are charged in all situations (which they reversed after consulting the branch manager) but all things considered it was handled pretty efficiently. The gist is it's probably always a mix depending on the person you're dealing with, but given my experience with Chase online that's NOT the way you want to go - and it is still possible to get people at the local branch on the phone for direct service. Maybe they handle way too many emails and skim rather than carefully read so sending them a message is practically like dealing with an automated machine, a voice conversation at least is best.

Horrible service. They never answer their phone and when you call the 800 number, the operator doesn't know anything and transfers you back to the branch that never answers their phone.

I normally don't write negative reviews on here but I felt I needed to get this out since it was such a negative experience. The person who greeted me was very very friendly and eager to help so one very bright star for him. The banker who helped me on the other hand, gave me a terrible experience, so much so I left feeling rather disgusted. I didn't feel like making small talk because that's how I am sometimes and when I didn't really elaborate on my day when asked, or when I looked at my phone to end a phone call I was on because I had been waiting for the banker to get out of his appointment to help me, I got a very demeaning and rude tone of "you're really busy aren't you". It just felt so incredibly rude and belittling. Literally on three different occasions within a 10 minute period this man said to me "busy aren't you" in this weird condescending tone. It felt like he was getting annoyed he couldn't reel me in for a sale or something like that. I just think there should be better customer service and I hope chase reads my review here.

Very nice bank! Went there and the staff are very nice and willing to help! Will be back soon for sure.
