i used to use accuchex payroll services for my office's payroll, first of all their software system is outdated , therefore there is no user friendly platform to run payroll online, so you have to do the VERY old school system of writing down everything and faxing it to them ( i dont even have a fax ), from there they input all payroll and benefits they have over the years made SEVERAL mistakes on the payroll made a huge mess, it takes them weeks to correct it most of the time they dont know what is going on, and they are also rude and on-apologetic even when they make the mistake themselves.

I want to acknowledge the excellent service that Patti Harvey has provided over the last many years. Patti is the consummate professional and even though we are only a small client, Patti has treated us like the only client that they have. In addition to her knowledge and problem solving skills, Patti is such a nice person with a great sense of humor. If I could pull her away from Accuchex I would do so.

I obtained a Bachelor of Science from UC Berkeley and had been doing all the accounting, including payroll for my business of 25 years. When the recession hit, I had to lay off my bookkeeper and I was having trouble keeping up with the tax returns and weekly payroll. I NEVER thought I would use a payroll service, but I checked it out and it turned out to be one of the best moves I've made. Having Accuchex accurately process the payroll and ON-TIME filing of my quarterlies and year end tax returns, more than pays the minimal cost and gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend Accuchex!

I have a BS degree in Accounting and have been doing payroll for the family auto business since I was 16 years old. Payroll is easy for me and I've had less than 10 employees my entire career. When the recession hit, I had to lay off some office staff, so duties other than accounting were taking up more of my time. I could handle the weekly payroll, no problem, but the quarterlies and year end reporting was causing a lot of stress. I decided to try a service and since I've known Leslie Ruhland for years after serving with her on the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, I decided to give Accuchex a try. We still use our own timeclock, so I enter the hours on Wednesday and on Friday, the paychecks show up in the mail (or direct deposit to employees). All the tax reporting is done and the analysis report provided easily imports all the payroll data to Quickbooks. I have saved so much in time and stress that I would NEVER do my own payroll again! Whenever I have a weird issue with the paychecks, my account manager, Patti Harvey, is easily accessible through email and phone calls. I am so thankful that I took the leap and hired Accuchex. I highly recommend them.

In the 20 years we've been in business, we have used a few different payroll systems, and have just not loved the level of service received. Moving to Accuchex was such a good personal and business decision. With Accuchex, processing payroll is simple (they do it all for me automatically) and accurate, stress-free, and the reports are so easily accessible (without having to jump though hoops every month to retrieve them). If I have any questions for my representative, they are answered immediately. Accuchex is great to work with!

I have a small accounting/bookkeeping company and have worked with most of the major (and some minor) payroll processing companies such as Paychex, ADP, etc. etc.. Accuchex is my favorite, by far.. Their software, Time2Pay, is very user friendly.. it is easy to find reports for any range of dates. Doing payroll can be very stressful and unlike some of the larger, national payroll companies, you can always get a real person on the phone. There is always someone to help with a problem. The are friendly, very small turnover of staff, and consistently professional... If given the option, I always recommend Accuchex.

TRUTH: I have been a loyal customer of Accuchex Payroll Services for over 25 years. Accuchex has grown over this period time but they remain accessible, responsive and competent. Kathy Sheehan, who oversees the Payroll Service Function, is beyond wonderful. The Art of Exceptional Customer Service must come from the heart. When the service is genuine and really caring it always makes us wonder if that skill can be taught. As an employer all you ever want from a tried and true vendor is for them to care more about time sensitive issues when they arise. Yikes...they do! Hats off to Jim Ruhland!!! He is a hands-on owner in the best sense of the word. I believe the consistency and quality of this company must come from his personal and professional philosophy which must be SERVICE BEFORE MONEY. I have used other payroll service's in the past, what a nightmare they were compared to Accuchex. Not only is their payroll software easy to use they will adapt it to anything special you need. My designated account rep, Patti is one of the best in the business. The IT department is always there for me. I just feel so fortunate to have Accuchex for my payroll service.

The team has been very helpful, all payroll changes come with a bit of pain, but they are able to handle states and locations we couldn't with Intuit or Wells Fargo. The ability to provide us coverage in multiple locations, get a live human on the phone and work thru issues has been helpful.

Once again, I am so impressed with the knowledgeable, professional and supportive service that the Payroll Reps provide for my company. I am not a Payroll Person and I feel out of my depth every payday, but I know I am in good hands with the Customer Service people who take my hand (metaphorically, speaking) and guide me through the process. I can always count on them to remind me to check the pre-process very carefully and they often suggest questions I should have answers to before I OK a payroll. Yes, the Accuchex system is online and automated and user friendly, but I don't have the confidence or the experience to feel that I can do this alone. Accuchex understands what a customer/company needs. I cannot say enough "Thank you's" to the Reps who keep me from making costly mistakes. One of the best decisions we made as a company was to chose Accuchex over 8 years ago.

I don't know about you guys but I have had a great multiple year experience since I changed over to Accuchex for my payroll. I am so busy being a restaurateur its very difficult to keep as organized as I would like to and Accuchex really helps me with accurate reports, taxes and no headaches when I request past audits. Thank you Accuchex I might be able to take a day off soon!
