April 2023 by Love 2 B A Mom L.
St. Linus has been a home away from home for my kids. I couldn't think of a better school for my kids. My kids have attended St. Linus since TK and we have loved it. St. Linus is the only place I can trust that my children will be shown the right path in life. The current principal, who has been the principal for several years, is wonderful, caring, understanding of everyone's needs and is a great leader. Communication with parents is excellent, emails to the parents from the principal and office administration help to get everyone involved and engaged in the activities. The kids participate in mass weekly and are comfortable with public speaking in front of the church and classroom. The families also share a strong bond and family involvement is encouraged. I am forever grateful to be part of the St. Linus family.

This leadership at this school has gone downhill after the last Principal left. We attended this school for 5 1/2 years. Was a Big volunteer here. Unfortunately in June of 2021 my 11 year old daughter experienced a bad bullying incident with 3 of her male classmates. She was harassed for 2 days by these boys online. I was able to print out every single page of harassment and provided a copy to all parents of kids involved and to the Principal. I also was told to get the police involved which I did. They also received this 62 PAGE book of harassment and said indeed this is illegal and is a crime in California. Some of the language used towards my daughter wasB**tch, wh**re, Sl*t. Nigg*r, they told her that she was a lesbian and that the LGBTQ community are a bunch of botched abortions. Told her she was a mistake. One boy said he had a shank and gun and she was going to die, he was going to kill her. If she goes missing everyone will know why..told her that her dads condom must have broke. This went on for 62 pages! I reached out to the principal multiple times asking her to expel these boys and referenced the parent student code of conduct handbook that we are all to sign at the beginning of every school year and it clearly states in there that they do not except this behavior.. I did everything I was asked to do to get these boys expelled and it never happened. There was no support for me or my daughter these boys were barely punished! Its insane to me that nothing else was done! Theres way more to this incident but no I do not recommend sending your children here. They wont protect your kids!

We love St. Linus!! The school has been doing an amazing job during the pandemic with distance and hybrid learning, and finally back full time. They quickly adapted their programs to fit the needs of the families while thriving through this once in a lifetime event. Before the pandemic and up to now, we could not recommend the school more. It really is a great family and the teachers, faculty, staff and parish care so much for the kids. Along with the excellent Catholic curriculum, the school offers many electives (such as music, dance, chess, etc.), after school programs and sports. Go Lions!!

My grandkids go to St. Linus School. We love how it is very close knit group of student and parents. They really do a great job in teaching the children about the Bible and educating them.

St. Linus School has been home to our family for 3 generations. The school is small, and has a caring and dedicated team of educators. It is a faithful community and values parent input. Watch for the annual fiesta where you can see alumni return to support their school! Go Linus Lions!

My daughter has been attending for a year now during the pandemic. The teachers were super helpful even though all was new to them to navigate through distant learning. I was working from home and I literally I was hands off. The teachers made sure that the kids were not missing anything and continuing to conduct class as usual including all state testing. My daughter express how much she loves this school even though she did not attend in person. The teachers are patient. The school administration is great and very attentive to all your needs and the needs of the children. It is worth it to enroll your child here and pay for a better education and also to teach them and guide them through our Catholic Religion. We will definitely be returning! Looking forward for an awesome new school year!

My daughter just graduated 8th grade from St. Linus School. She went there for 10 yrs, since pre k. Giving her a catholic decision was the best decision we have ever made. St. Linus felt like a family since day 1. We were very confident that our only child is in a very safe environment. She grew up happy, making great friends whose friendship extended beyond school premises. I love that families are always welcome to join/watch all the students activities like school programs & field trips. Teachers and staff are so dedicated and kind. My daughter will be entering HS, i know she is well equipped with all the knowledge and skills to start her new journey. We will be forever grateful to st linus. I highly recommend St Linus for your children's elementary education.
