Sheriff cut me off while entering the freeway. Almost caused an accident... no emergency lights. No signal. They were in a non merging lane. Had my son in the car but they must have "MORE IMPORTANT" places to be right? Lol. No point in filing a complaint bc they probably dont do shit abt it. Abuse of power at its finest. Not my first encounter with a reckless driving pig.

Calling for info & CURRENTLY ON HOLD for 3+HRS & STILL GOING! Ridiculous. According to LBPD my son was detained from the court room for a DUI he was trying to fix and its been OVER 24HRS still nothing in system, still on hold waiting for someone - at what point is this KIDNAPPING?? how does one get the police to help? My son is MIA in the county jail!

Hi, I got a parking ticket recently. This is obviously fair, I messed up. So I'm happy to pay this ASAP to get it out of the way. This is going to be a long rant. The ticket hasn't popped up on the website for a week, and so I make a call to the office. Note that this ticket doesn't have the penalty amount due on the bottom, and the writing by the officer is not the most legible everywhere else (the reason for the ticket). I've also tried paying online, and it fails despite the ticket number being correct. Of course, it doesn't look like the tech and web apps here are maintained well, from an SE point of view. So I proceed with the call. After going through the bot, it determines that there is no ticket on the file, which means permissions haven't been enabled yet. So I get carried over to customer service: I get a lady on the phone, and I'm sure she's had better days and isn't always like this. However, right off the bat she's very rude and her pronounciation and emphasis of important words is not the best (but I don't mind this at all, but maybe she was rude because I was having trouble hearing her?). I'll even list the time I called the office (2:08), so she knows exactly who this is. She sarcastically says, "Did the officer give you a blank ticket?" after I answered her question about the penalty amount being non-existent. **No shit** it's not a blank ticket, how do you think I even called the office in the first place? Later, she asks me, "OK so what did the officer cite you for?" I stated that I'm not sure, I'm being cited for parking incorrectly and the ticket is not legible. And of course, she has to say "Well obviously you're being cited for a parking ticket, but what is the reason." I once again state that the ticket is not legible, because I just want to quickly get to the bot because talking with her is pointless. At the very end, she quickly gets me to the bot and presses a button to allow me to pay, and she does this very quickly and hangs up without any closing statements. Obviously, if I could get the bot instead of a customer service drone, I would have preferred to do that. She clearly hates her job and her life -- I wonder if the other customer service representatives are like that here? If you want to do your job properly, go through the script. And don't forget the "Have a nice day" at the end. It isn't that hard, and your job is going to be automated away if you're that poor at the one thing that separates you from a bot.

Place looks creepy, First time there and after coming from the Westminster police department I was expecting the same environment in this station. Not the case! It’s old, very dirty everywhere even the ceiling. No wonder the employees have that messed up attitude, I would too if I worked under those conditions.

I would have to agree that this sheriff’s station is a very unwelcoming place to have to go to every time we need an RV parking permit. Floors, walls, and ceiling are dirty, cracked and peeling. Photo frames on the wall are old and displayed on the wall haphazardly. The staff must feel the same way because their “I hate my job attitude” is what greets the people who enter this station. We know they have a strenuous job but knowing how to greet and speak to the public is important. Bad reflection on the city of Norwalk as well as the sheriff’s Department

The absolute worst! There were people blowing up music at 1100pm I call because it was so loud and I was told I was already the 3rd complaint. It's now 1241am and they still haven't sent anyone to tell them to stop. One of the worst departments I have EVER dealt with.

The kids they hire now are not equipped to handle the situation in front of them , and a Sargent or two! Oh by the way are you guys still stealing money in busts!!!! Womack is about the worst officer you could ever talk to.

Today I called the City of Norwalk sheriff department to place a complaint about two parties playing extremely loud music cars accelerating and burning tires I placed the call at 2:00 am who ever answered my call told me that they had received several calls regarding the same issue and that they are too busy to respond and hung up the phone the parties still going on it's very sad that our neighborhood has to go through this nuinse some of us have to work tomorrow morning I consider this department a disgrace to the Norwalks community I will not in any way support the Norwalks sheriff department. It's a total disgrace. NEW SOUTH CENTRAL AREA

When I try to get my brother out of the house because he was abusing my mother the cops didn't want to help me get him deported back to Mexico that was when I talked to Social Services to contact the feds and that was when they got chewed out by the Marshalls and after the incident that was the time the cops stop messing with me

This police department is beyond pathetic. Just read all the one star reviews!!! Our catalytic converter was stolen from in front of the Double Tree Hotel which is a one minute walk away from this Police Station, yet one hour after I was sent away from the station to wait by my Truck for an officer to make a report, I am still waiting. I call after an hour. And they tell me it is not life threatening, but to wait by my truck in the hot sun.The crooks who stole our catalytic converter must know it is safe to steal close to this station!
