You'll notice their first review is only one star, and based on our experience with them too, I wonder how they got anything higher than that. To begin with, they were hired to renovate our bathroom and the project began in August of 2023, they finished the project in November of 2023. That's a quarter of a year to renovate a small bathroom. Not only were they no-call-no-shows several times, we had to actively text Andy to get someone to come out bc we were desperate to get the project completed. There was a horrible lack of communication and an attitude of maybe we'll be there, maybe we won't. We're adults with schedules and didn't appreciate them dictating the schedule like that frequently. Aside from that, they have a catalogue of items that show in stock and in reality aren't. For example, we selected a vanity that would accommodate a certain number of people only for the workers to show up with a completely different vanity unsuitable for our circumstance. When asked they said, "Sorry the one you wanted is out of stock." LOL We'd communicate what color we wanted only for the owner to be clueless and ask again. The workmanship was subpar, as well. Paint lines weren't clean and the tile installation wasn't good work either. They did a kitchen reno for us as well and one of the lazy susans broke. A year later they are "still waiting for the backordered part". All in all, I would advise you to run from this company and take your hard earned money elsewhere. It's a joke. They also accidentally drilled into our hallway closet and had to patch it.

Ambros was contracted by our Homeowners association to fix damage on the exterior of my townhouse unit that was hit by a car. They did a fabulous job. They started on time as scheduled and Ray Villa was responsive in keeping me up to date on what was being done and finished on time as they stated. The finished work looked great and I'm very satisfied. Would definitely recommend them!

The guys at Ambros Construction are a class act. They listened to our goals and heard our concerns being my wife and my first garage to ADU conversion. A proposal was presented at their headquarters in Norwalk and the whole crew showed up for the on site visit. A big thanks to Ray and Andy for their professionalism and transparency. Let's build!!

We worked with Ambros through Norwalk's One-ways Program, so we already knew they were vetted through the city. However, we picked them since they were extremely professional and communicative out of all the options the city gave us for contractors. Even after being selected to do our roof replacement, the team was still very communicative and professional, even after the job was done. They went above and beyond in making sure we were happy with their work. Very clean and willing to work with our schedules. Also, the roof replacement was done very quickly, despite how good quality the workmanship was. Will definitely contact them again for other construction work for our house and recommend them to anyone in the local area.

Our family was highly satisfied with the work that was done on our home. Our experience with all staff exceeded our expectations. All work was explained to us and completed. They remained in constant communication with us which is very reassuring considering our past experiences with other contractors. We are also extremely grateful for the care and genuine concern the staff had for our family member who was ill at the time. A fantastic construction firm. I wanted to build a fence for my front yard. They were prompt and knowledgeable in assisting me in selecting the best fence for my needs. Very easy and dependable people to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had multiple projects (Kitchen Vent and a backsplash installation) that needed to be accomplished, and Ambros sent a representative the same day. After accepting the offer, the work was completed fast and with expert execution. I'm very please with the results, and I'm still going back for other future projects. Highly recommend.

We needed to upgrade our kitchen and replace the old counter tops with newones. We did a search for what was available, but we would rather work with a small company with better customer service. After speaking to different companies, we decided to hire Ambros Construction. The owner Andy was very knowledgeable about the license and insurance requirements, and he was very helpful in answering our questions. Their team they sent was very good at their job and the addition we had them build passed inspections with the city. Overall happy with the experience.

My family and I are happy we went with Ambros Constuction. It is hard to find a trustable, reliable, clean, and professional company, however with Ambros we found just that. My family and I wanted to redo the floor inside our home as well as build a brick wall in our backyard. Ambros made sure they knew what we wanted and made sure they lived up to our expectations, the job came out beautiful and everything we wanted and pictured in our head. We found the perfect company we can trust, depend on and know that we will not be disappointed. We no longer have to look around for construction companies to work on our projects, we already found the perfect one. Thank you Ambros.

From beginning to end I had a perfect experience. Spoke to their office manager Rosie to set up an estimate for my work and they showed up same day. Killed it with the pricing to get flooring done in a few rooms and some electrical work. The workers had some great energy doing the project which isnt really necessary but its an odd thing I really appreciated. They gave me a heads up on some city programs to help with the cost of fixing up my home so I look forward to working with them again in the future.

We had so many issues with this company. Victor was extremely rude and yelled at my disabled mother. The work they did was not installed properly and had to be redone a couple times. We are highly dissatisfied with the work that was done. I do not recommend this company unless you love migraines.
