Worst place to take my dog. The receptionist is rude and dry. The male technician seemed to enjoy pushing the drug into my dog’s catheter knowing that the medicine will burn and cause pain and discomfort to my poor dog. When my dogs reacted in pain he wanted to muzzled my poor small dog for reacting is severe pain. The technicians face was full of indifference and zero compassion for my dog or me. I can only imagine how he treats the other poor dogs when they are alone with him. If you love your dogs never take them here. Worst dog owner experience ever.

I trust this vet with my animals - I wish I knew the doctor’s name, but he is so caring and has helped my cats get back to full health when they’ve been sick. I recommend this place :-)

This is a rather hard review to make because Dr Trujillo has been a good vet to my pups over the last 10 yrs but the office staff is what makes the place hard to come back too. We recently dropped off a stool sample that cost 120 to determine which parasite my dog had. I was told I would get a call next day around 12. I did not hear from the office so decided to call them mid afternoon and was told the test was negative which I knew was inaccurate because we can see worms in the poop so the office said the vet would give me a call. Within two hrs Dr T calls me and spent time to review the test and agreed on a treatment plan and recommendations and to also come pick up medications same day. I told him I would stop by some time that day. I decided to come back to this vet although we had moved 3 yrs ago and it wasn't the closest to us anymore so I made the drive that day. When I arrived there was no one in the front and waited for about 10 min until a receptionist came to the front and she was not very welcoming. Told her about the meds and she said she would go find out. I waited another 5-10 min with no update and she comes back saying meds were not in stock and I would have to come back next week. There was no other alternative, she was rude about it and I asked if I can get the medicine somewhere else ( I didn't want to spend another day with my dog with worms yet a whole weekend) and I also felt I should've not been told to come get meds they didn't have. she said she would ask about an alternative and I wait again for another 5-10 min, i call around other vets which I got more information from other vets than the receptionist and was told I can take a prescription to Costco. I ask the receptionist for the prescription and she tells me " that needed to be requested beforehand" and she walks away. I felt disregarded and like it was my fault I came in. She returns and says we can't give you a prescription until tomorrow, I then ask for another alternative and she calls for the manager Kevin. I will say Kevin had a different approach but I was already upset with the receptionist and Kevin tells me he is not able to help me with the medication today but he will personally go to their sister hospital for the medication tomorrow. Next day I get a call letting me know they have the medication and will receive a discount for the inconvenience. When I get to the office same receptionist was in the front counter ( didn't catch her name, has a spider web tattoo on her ear tho) and had everything ready for me. I apologized to Kevin for the day before and he was very professional and I appreciated him on service recovery for the inconvenience and appreciated him going the extra mile to get the meds for my dog. Thanks Kevin. I have been to this office in the past like I said in the last ten years and my dogs have been treated here for surgeries, euthanizing, wellness, vaccines and recovery from a car accident. I would say the staff could be friendlier and a bit more professional but Dr T has taken the time to care for my pets which I felt was worth the drive after I moved . The prices I also felt were reasonable for vet services. They are also still in a paper chart system. I'm undecided if I will come back this time. If you live nearby I'd say yes if it's a distance I would say maybe try something closer.

I used to bring my pets here and always had amazing service. But it's been a while, and it's definitely not the same as before. I paid $45 dollars for my dog to be weighed and was referred to another place. Really? I was told I would get the information for the referral at the front desk, but when I wet up there, they were clueless. No communication between staff. I don't even know what I paid for... I ended up getting my pet taken care of at a nearby vet, as their " referral" had appointments 2 weeks out. I can't recommend this place anymore.

I needed someone open. Someone to just help stabilize my sonic. They told me they didn't want him there and the doctor wasn't going to accept him. The person felt like a robot. Cold. That's definitely not how to handle someone at their wits end. Hate vets use the word hospital or even after hours when they do just as much as the small clinics but worse with longer hours This was one of many responses I've gotten from vet hospitals referring me to others who don't care. With how devastated I was my next option was a human hospital they at least have more sympathy

A while back, Trujillo really saved my dogs life after we adopted her from SEACCA and she was deathly sick. After that, they were my go to vet office. Everything got fishy after a while when I would send her in to get an allergy shot and I would hear the workers in the back passing her around and asking each other “did we give this dog her shot?” Then “idk but probably” and then I’d get charged. It took me a long time to share why I stopped going, but here we go! I took my dog to get groomed there one day and everything looked fine until I after I paid and took my dog back to my car. I noticed there was blood all over my pants after she jumped on me, excited to go home. Afraid, I looked at her paws and one of her paw pads had a gash in it, from the clippers they use to cut nails. I went in and said “hey my dog is bleeding, what happened?” And they send back for the head nurse and she comes out crossing her arms and saying my dogs “nails were so over grown and bad that they were digging into her paws, and that’s what happened when they pulled her nails out of her paw pads.” Firstly…I’m obsessed with my dog, I look at her nails, skin, teeth AND EVERYTHING everyday. I would have never let her nails get that bad. So that fact that this lady lied to my face and was essentially trying to shame me in front of her receptionist and another customer made me tear up. I tried defending myself and she got really aggressive saying “well what do you want us to do about it? WHAT DO YOU WANT?” And I broke. My voice cracked and I was holding back my tears and I just asked her for some gauze and they should have let me know she was hurt before I took her to walk across an asphalt parking lot. I sat in my car for 20 minutes and cried. The bad of this place outweighed the good. There were small things that happened every time I took her there, but I refuse to go in there now. So beware.

My dog had a mass removal here less than two weeks ago and I really wish I had done more research on this place. We were handed two bottles post surgery (pain and antibiotics) but zero after care instructions. No one called to update us post surgery. The office staff are rude and unprofessional. No one told us he should be immobile post removal (and they did not prescribe anything to make an 11 month old pitbull puppy sleepy to keep him immobile.) I called SIX times post surgery trying to get aftercare instructions and a follow up appointment. Every time I was told to call back or they didn’t give appointments out until 12 hours prior. I called day 7 post surgery because his bandage started smelling and he was limping and I wanted to make sure it was not infected. Again, RUDE and incompetent person on the phone. I don’t even know if the vet knows we were trying to contact him but it appears based on other reviews, they know the staff is bad. I had to go to another vet for his follow up care (after paying over $2000 to after hours) and they called to request records and after hours told them they would send it and never did. I followed up the next day and they said they never received a record request which was a lie because I was standing right next to the new vet when they called and spoke to someone. The new vet is trying to help us control the bleeding (vessel needed clamping) but he may lose his leg if we can’t get this under control.

If i could I'd put 0 stars!! This place is super unprofessional and unfriendly. It was my first time bringing my dog to the vet ever and i'm upset to say it was a horrible experience. The staff is rude except for one receptionist at checkout. The doctor didn't really examine my puppy, I paid $45 for him to tell me he needs antibiotics, didn't even tell me for what? He seemed annoyed when I asked questions. My puppy had a bad reaction to the medication and is in pain, I called back concerned and he told me HE DOESNT KNOW WHY my puppy is reacting this way. He doesn't take his patients seriously. Don't come here it's a waste of money and time.

I do not know what happen hear. They are so hostile and do not answer any concerns. I did not appreciate how they didn't take me seriously. Three rude staff members in a row will redirect patients/clients. I've been here in the past and it was so different. :/ why would I leave my dog here?

Updating this review to only 1 star. Gave this place another shot since our pup hasn't been eating. Took her in and the vet didn't even examine her! Offered to give her a shot to stimulate her eating without even knowing if it was something wrong. The only thing said was well she looks healthy! Paid $45 for someone to look at her and say well she looks healthy!?! Didn't even offer suggestions of what it could be...we will not be going back here.

This place is my go to because it’s close by. They create their own hours and lock up before normal business hours. Don’t go close to closing cause they are probably already closed.

Reasonable compared to other after hour vets. They don't add anything additional that is not necessary at the moment. Quick too.
