I went in for a second time because I had an issue with porting number from another service provider. The prior gentleman who helped me was very helpful, but this time, I got Nando. When he found out that I wasn't there to buy anything, his entire attitude changed. He didn't really care and just told me that it is common to take a few days to port a number and asked me to just wait. I later called Verizon and found out that there was an issue with the porting and the Verizon rep (i.e., Nando) should have been able to help me. Avoid Nando unless you are there to buy something....

I must say thank you to Fadia( store manager) and Nando. They have been very helpful and professional, but as for Verizon as a company and their online and over the phone customer service ! Can I say that they are bunch unprofessional, inadequate untrained ......S ?! Well, I just did.

I returned an equipment to this location about 5 or 6 weeks ago. I am still getting bills from Verizon saying that the equipment was not returned. Verizon and its stores are not communicating regarding this matter and I keep harassed. Very unprofessional and disrespectful company. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Disgusted.

Shane is great! This location has a great staff and working system. It's busy and gets each customer in and out. Shane helped my family with an upgrade and handled all the obstacles along the way. Thank you Shane and the Porter Ranch Verizon team! Keep up the great work

Horrible customer service and beyond unprofessional. My husband, son and I walked in the store 20 min before store closed. Two employees were in the store, one just left. Before we even were asked to be helped the employee stated- did you want to schedule an appt for tomorrow- we don't have time to assist. The store was still open. As we shopped around, I waited for him to finish talking to the customer he was speaking too. I asked him what the store policy was, as the store was still open. I asked for a store manager name/or district manager ( since the store was still open:I had not even been given a chance to share what I needed). The sales men went to the back- which took more time then needed and prob could have assisted. He gave me a sticky with an email and 1800 #. I asked him what the policy was for Verizon. He stated " I have a family I want to go home too, I know you came 20 min before the store closes but we need more time" I told him he didn't have to be rude and that I didn't understand why we couldn't wait. He then walked away and continued to rant- my name is Francisco do you need me to spell it/ here's my last name. My husband then turned around and said, he man you don't need to be rude- she's walking out- I turned around and told him- your very unprofessional and rude. I asked you a legitimate question- with no profanity and respectfully- your attitude and tone is completely out of pocket. What was extremely demonstrated was the employee's comfort to engage in that way and provide an email and a tech support number with no concern for his behavior. I'll definitely will get in touch with the store manager/district manager and notify customer service. However it is key to recognize unprofessional service. Especially that this is a actual Verizon store. Unfortunately these individuals have no training or accountability it appears in professionalism or customer service. It's not that service was denied before operations completed alone, but the delivery and entitlement to be so rude. I have emailed the email provided, given it was after 7- therefore there hasn't been a response - fadiamayor- which was the only information along with the tech support #.

I went back to Verizon in Porter Ranch today for help with my phone charger. I was the first customer in the store, and was lucky to get a kind rep named Josh. He was patient and thorough, and promised me he would not abandon me until we repaired everything. After testing and working on the charger, he proceeded to fix a problem I had receiving texts. This took a while, but Josh was patient even though it ended up taking over an hour. Once both problems were resolved, he suggested I might want to buy a backup charger for my phone. He was genuinely helpful, not hard sell at all. He even showed me where to get a discount coupon for it on the app. I left the store feeling well cared for and even more knowledgeable about my phone.

What'd you go get my phone activated? To try to charge me $35. I went elsewhere.

I went to the other Verizon store on Chatsworth St cause it had better reviews. Mistake. That is a terrible store. I ended up going to the Porter Ranch location and had better help.

Came in to upgrade my phone. Our specialist, Pablo, told us that we were not eligible for an upgrade since we were grandfathered in to our current family plan. Long story short, even though we were clearly eligible for an upgrade, he didn't want to help us because we didn't want to update our family plan. Because he wasn't going to get his commission out of us, we were completely dismissed of other options. He even suggested going to Best Buy or Walmart to get a phone at retail cost and that they could activate the phone from there. Such a horrible experience. We went to a different Verizon and was able to get my phone upgraded with no hassle.

If I could give less than one star, I would have. Some of the worst customer service ever! They sign you in like they're going to help you and let you stand there. The lady that finally helped me literally leaned her head in her hand and scrolled on her phone with the other, and they call that customer service. Sad on all levels.

Shoutout to the employees they were actually really helpful. I don’t remember the name of the guy who helped me but he looked like Mr Clean and he was honestly very cool and helpful. Want him to be recognized, he’s bald and has two earrings if the management somehow doesn’t know how Mr Clean looks like.
