I took my daughter's 2018 Mitsu Outlander Sport for a full synthetic oil change and a possible dead battery (but my daughter reminded me battery was still under warranty at Auto Zone).
I will be returning for other services because Tony works with integrity, and he provided EXCELLENT customer service. I highly recommend this shop - they have experience behind the belt with older knowledgeable mechanics and I like that.

Honest mechanics are hard to come by! My car was having an issue throwing codes so I took it to them for diagnostic and oil. They could have just started replacing parts the computer said to replace and hoped it worked but they didn’t want to guess. they told me I should take it to the dealership they have all the software and could possibly be fixed with a software update or flashing the cpu. Since it wasn’t resolved they didn’t charge me and let me for the diag and let me leave the car there till I could tow it to MercedesWill be going back there for regular service and maintenance

We took my mother in law Prius here for a Smog check. Yes, you read that right that we had to do a smog check for a Prius. I was familiar with Steve Express Automotive because when my wife had her old Toyota Corolla and it was having problems, I took it here to get fixed. I called ahead to double check that this place does Smog check and ask for the price. There no appointment needed and you just show up, I was told on average it would take around 30 min. When we arrived, they didn't have much parking spots but I was able to find one next to the entrance. When my mother in law arrived, I give the key to the mechanic and he went to do the Smog check. The person working the counter said that Prius never fails the Smog check and also said he doesn't know why a Smog check is needed for a Prius. It took around 30 min and we didn't have any issues.

Came here to get my Prius C smog checked - yes they're making us smog our hybrid vehicles now! I called ahead to find out about pricing, and spoke to the Office Manager Tony, who was helpful, and advised they accept walk-ins. Shortly after my fiancé I drove over, and apparently we arrived just before lunch was to start (about 15 minutes before), but Tony made to sure to get us in expeditiously, and we were in and out in less than a half-hour. Cost of smog check here is $60.00.Tony also assisted with getting a quote for repair of my front bumper.Thanks Tony, and Steve's Express! I'll definitely be back!

Came here for a quick smog check and had a great and fast experience. Everyone was very kind and they we're really precise on how long the wait time would be, which is really appreciated. The convenience of their location makes it a very easy as a first choice for anything I need for my vehicle. For this visit I was in and out in 30 minutes for my complete smog check, but that included being 2nd or 3rd in line. I paid $60 out the door and everything is sent directly over to the DMV. I'm good with eliminating the stress of finding a reliable place that can smog check and fix your entire vehicle (if needed) all in one place. As much as I look to never have to bring my car in for anything again, I'm happy to know they are conveniently located a few blocks from CSUN, just up the way from me.

Wonderful, fast, friendly, and honest service! I wasn't sure how busy they would get so I went right when they opened. I was very pleased with how fast I was in and out. They could have lied and told me I needed additional services like I know big auto companies would have, but they were honest and did not try to trick me into anything unnecessary. I would recommend and would use their servies again!
