I was on my way to work, stopped by my favorite coffee haunt and my car would not start. Called AAA, they came, and immediately and correctly diagnosed that it was the starter. AAA was able to get it started and said "go to your mechanic right now." 20+ miles from my regular mechanic I checked Yelp to see which local mechanic had the best rating. It was S&K. And the 5 star rating is totally appropriate! I drove over, he took 3 minutes to check out my car took my name and # and said he call when to was ready. "Today?" I asked, fully expecting to get a call at 4:45 PM. At 11:30AM he called the car was ready. The cost - reasonable and exactly what I was quoted. If it M-F, I have a new mechanic.
