I last reviewed Rudy's Upholstery years ago when he restored my grandparents' antique chaise and platform rocker. Several years later, he reupholstered 2 couches and an overstuffed chair with footstool. All were done just as perfectly as the first job, and have worn very well. I continue to rave that he's the best. I'm about to take a new job to him to reupholster the outdoor sofa cushions and pillows as the waterproof fabric is finally done and the squirrels are getting the better of it. Can't wait to have it for this summer.

Rudy was recommended by my mother's friend who had been having him reupholster her sofas, chairs etc for over 25 years. She says she sends her neighbors, friends and family to him and they are always happy. You can never go wrong by Helen's recommendations! I'd just chalk painted my rattan dinette set and the old cushions needed new upholstery. I brought Rudy the cushions and fabric. He is in one of those warehouse style units off Business Center Drive in Northridge. You can drive right up to his door. The cushions had been done in a waterfall style and Rudy recommended adding piping to upgrade the look. I told him I often pull the stools into the kitchen to cook so he reached under his worktable & pulled out the perfect faux leather cushy fabric. Not only the right color charcoal grey but a bit distressed looking to go with my Shabby Chic look. One week later they were done. The cash price was very reasonable. The fabric pattern has crowns and keys on it. He's positioned them perfectly on each chair. I'll post a picture. That may sound like an obvious move but not everyone pays such close attention to detail. I'm thrilled. I'm actually running around the house looking for something else for him to upholster!

Rudy did an amazing job on my sofa and chair. They were previously in good vintage condition but the fabric was very 60s grandma and the cushions were too firm for my husband. He replaced the cushions and put on a beautiful new fabric and everything looks perfect. As soon as he got the fabric in from the supplier, I had the sofa and chair back within two weeks. I definitely recommend his work.
