They bought OneWest and now horrible service and a mobile app that doesn't work. No response to emails. Don't put your money here, go to a credit union.

I am a client and would like to express a concern I have in continuing my banking with OWB. My home office is in Tarzana, which I love very much, however I moved to Northridge, so I have been banking at Northridge office. A month ago I went to do normal business deposits at the Northridge branch. As I am interacting with the teller, the assistant manager Bernadette Quizon came over to question the teller of why she was endorsing the checks on my behalf. Then she addressed me and asked why I am not endorsing the checks myself. I was caught off guard. I have been signing the back of the checks for the past four years. I explained to Miss Quizon that the past four years I have been following the same process when making deposits and no one ever had an issue with it and tellers always completed and stamped the back of the checks. I further said that I never knew I needed to endorse the back of the checks with a stamp. I am not sure why the assistant manager approached me in the first place as she wasn't even called. Here demeanor and body language were aggressive. Her tone of voice was so degrading to both myself and the teller. One West Bank always is 'old school' bank, where everyone knows me by name, as well as always so welcoming. In the Northridge branch this is not the case because of Miss Quizon! As result I stopped going to this branch to avoid having to deal with her or even see her. She creates a hostile environment, and she is unprofessional. I require respect and not being scolded as if I am a child. The endorsement matter is an easy fix. All that she had to do is explain the importance of the stamp. FYI I immediately ordered the stamp and using it but refuse to go into Northridge office.

When it comes to customer service, Payam takes the experience to another level. He is courteous and goes out of his way to ensure that we were provided all possible options for our personal finance needs and took the time to answer all our follow up queries.

Shame on OneWest Bank On or about June 2018, I have opened an account with OneWest Bank in Northridge. In over all, I have received the poor services and ripped off $55 by OneWest bank!!! I was ripped off in total of $605 by the web-site due to none delivered of my merchants. I paid it $55 from my OneWest bank ATM Mastercard and I paid $550 from my other three banks ATM Mastercards. I have disputed charges in Feb 28,20. I have received $550 credits from my all other three banks within short period of time by the record to be proved. The only OneWest bank is the one which is very greedy, cheap, careless and acted as very unprofessional, made excused, made unfair and wrong decision and did not give it to me the credit of just $55 for disputed charged of none delivered of merchants!!! Once again, the OneWest bank is the worse bank, greedy, cheap and it's very unprofessional doing business with their clients!!! In the end I closed my account and I highly suggest and recommend it to everybody to be stayed away from OneWest bank otherwise you will be the next victim. Shame on OneWest bank.

It is not often I am compelled to write a review for a bank but the associates at One West Bank on Tampa in Northridge deserve my sincere appreciation! My sister and I went in yesterday because our Mom had died & she held 5 accounts at that branch! She loved the people at that bank and now I understand why. They were charming, helpful, kind & considerate, mind you while we were closing 5 accounts because my mother had designated another bank to collect her multiple accounts within...simply because my sister already had an account at that other bank & my sister lives overseas. I mean it, Payam was particularly reassuring as the process takes quite a long time & hard work on their part. He and his manager dug in & sorted through the bureaucracy to get us the money my Mom had worked SO hard to save for us. Thank you One West Bank! Jeff Tuttle & Tracy Kafkafi

Excellent service!! Extremely professional and courteous. I'm going back to open another CD at this bank tomorrow. They even gave us a swag bag of cool stuff. We opened our account with Payam Khojastehfar. I highly recommend him as he was super knowledgeable and patient.

The employees and security guard at this bank are so kind. My 2 year old daughter was crying and wanted to be held to nap in the parking lot. They let me sit in their waiting area for literally 2.5 hours while my daughter napped on me. They did not make me feel unwelcome or weird at all. They even offered to bring me coffee. I bank here already, but if I didn't I'd totally open an account just because these people are so nice!

I am a disabled Veteran (lost my left leg). There are times such as now when the prosthesis causes sores on the residual limb which makes getting around both difficult and painful. The employees know the I have this problem. My fiancee whom they have seen many times, went to the bank today with a deposit and the debit card to get a little cash for the weekend. By mistake she typed the wrong PIN number in the machine and it kept tthe card. No one would give her back the card, even though she reminded them of my missing leg etc. So I asked her to ask someone in the bank to call me so they could verify that I am the account holder. They refused to call me and said they didn't care how difficult it was for me to physically get to thr bank, they were not giving her the card. I then called the bank and talked to someone with a foreign accent who basically said, come in and sign to get the card back or we'll just keep it. I told them what I thought of their non-bending policy and their obvious lack of respect for Veterans. I am closing the account in this very uncaring and unpatriotic Bank. All reading this and having an account at this unAmerican institution should close their account as well.
