A guy driving one of their trucks drove in the bike line so he could cut a bunch of people off in the intersection and then drove in the bike lane again to threw a full cup of ice at my car windshield when I merged in front of him. I wouldn't trust a business that employs people who endangers the lives of others.

I read several bad reviews about the company and decided to to give the company a shot. Steve was a complete gentlemen. I called him on the phone for an estimate, to replace a 8 foot sliding screen door in my Dining room. The original quote that he gave me over the phone and the quote he gave me today before he started work, was exactly the same amount. Steve built me a custom-made screen door with the highest quality materials and I'm extremely pleased. I am definitely going to use him in the future to do additional work in my home.

I needed 2 screens fixed. I spoke to their office, they gave me a quote, and Steve was there the next day. Got my screens fixed for exactly what they quoted me for. I appreciate the quick service and fair price. Thanks Steve and the rest of the team. If I ever need more screens fixed, they will be my first call!

We used Northridge screen service to rescreen a screen sliding door for a rental unit. When my wife called to get a quote, Steve was very professional and assured her he would call once on the job site before performing any of the work to confirm the scope. He did not do so and charged an additional $50 for two rollers and $55 to install them when that was never part of the scope and we would have never agreed to pay the $100+ price for a door that was rolling perfectly fine (we know - we just moved out after living there for years). This is already in addition to a $68 service call fee. She called him the unauthorized work and he was rude and said that was part of routine maintenance and didn't need permission to do so. We feel like he took advantage of an opportunity to jack the price of the invoice up by over 30% when my wife made clear she had to be home to take care of our newborn.

If I could give Northridge Screen Service no stars, I would. I called Northridge Screen Service and spoke with a company employee and was given a price for screens. I let the employee know I would let my husband know the price and have him call back to set up an appointment. I was told, "No problem". My husband called the company back to set up the appointment and was told the owner of the company sets the schedule and would call back to set up the appointment. When the owner called back to set up the appointment, he increased the price of the screens. When he was told he was providing a higher price than was previously given, he stated the price increased because my husband called back to make the appointment and the appointment wasn't immediately made when I spike to the employee and received the price. It was stated to him I got the price in the late afternoon and by the time I informed husband it was after business hours and my husband called back immediately the next morning. He stated, "If price is an issue for you, and your going to discuss this price difference with me, I will let you know I'm the owner of this company and you should have made your appointment yesterday when you first called". Then he abruptly hung up. I cannot imagine a price increase from the late afternoon to first thing the next morning. Nor can I imagine speaking to a customer in this manner and then hanging up on the customer.And so follows this review...

Great customer service on the phone and in person. If I knew that having my screens replaced was this easy, I would have done it sooner! Didn't have to take the screens anywhere. They're huge screens so that would have been a problem for me. Everything was done on site and quickly too! The price I ended up paying was different than what was quoted over the phone because they can't get a true picture of what needs to be done until they're on-site. I mention this because so many people don't seem to understand that a quote is a guesstimate. This business is trustworthy and professional. I recommend them 100%.

Follow Steve Miller’s direction and let this man do his work. He is a craftsman and was the only person who could rescreen a wood frame screen door.Disregard any negative reviews you’re not hiring him to be your friend or go to dinner ?

The owner, Steve is a real mean nasty person. He was working in the neighborhood and physically attacked my neighbor. The Fire Department and the LA Police showed up. Steve disappeared, but a police report was filed just in case he decides to physically assault someone else. Beware... but if you do hire him, remember there is an assault record filed with LAPD. You might need it. If he takes this post down, I will ADD it again because it is the TRUTH... the whole neighborhood is aware too!

It's almost unbelievable that this business still has not learned the meaning of customer service. they are beyond rude, they are outright condescending and disrespectful. Stay away and go elsewhere. No one that treats a fellow human with this level disrespect is someone you want dealings with.

Impolite. Disrespectful. Unpleasant. Downright nasty. There aren't enough words to describe what an awful person Steve, the owner of this company, is. My next-door neighbor was having screen work done and I noticed a truck parked in front of my house with a flat tabletop workbench the size of two doors near the curb at the end of my walkway. We get deliveries many times a day and they come up that walkway, so I went out to ask the guy if he knew how long he was going to be there. As it turned out he was about to pack up and leave, but rather than just telling me that he says, "Am I blocking your driveway?" "No," I said, "I was just asking if you knew how long you might be here." This time he responds with a diatribe about easements and how he was allowed to be within however many feet of the curb he was and how I don't even own the edge of my own walkway. I told him I know all about easements and didn't need a lesson, I was just asking when he might be leaving. I ended up calling the business number on his truck to complain and the guy who answered it laughed about the whole thing in an effort to diffuse the situation, like he's used to smoothing customers' feathers on a daily basis. I laughed too because it did seem absurd, and the guy apologized and said that Steve is old and cranky and that's just the way it is, plus he owns the company so there's not much that can be done. We also happen to need screens, and when I first saw the truck I figured I'd ask the neighbors how it went and maybe use this guy. Now, no way. I'll still talk to the neighbors, but not for a recommendation. We'll probably go with Screenmobile of San Fernando Valley. Ask yourself: Is this the kind of guy you want working on your house? Personally, I don't care if he's the best there is if he's going to be a schmuck and overcharge me for the privilege. I'm glad it worked out for the five-star reviewers, but take a look at the others and ask yourself if it's worth taking a chance on this uber-jerk.

the most unprofessional service ever! the owner showed up to do an estimate called 5 different times reminding of the $65 charge for inspection was greeted by the manager who has lived at the building for over 20 years and just leaves after waiting for 2 weeks for him to show up what kind of service or company is this wont even pick up the phone like a little kid i would never call them again and would recomend everyone in the valley who is under there zonning to do it themselves or find someone else i dont even know how this company is still open !!!!! dont waste your time with this clown
