Do not waste your time going here; it's better to get it straight from New Era. I have always bought from the New Era website, and this was my first time buying a NY hat from Lids. The hat was too small, so I went to this shop to ask for directions on how to return the item, since Google mentioned that I could return it at a Lids store. The employee at the Lids store was rude, threatened to call security, and spoke in an offensive manner.If the owner of this store reads this Review, I suggest providing your employees with customer service training. You will lose customers if your workers treat them like that. Customer is king, without customer you can lose the business.Your employee is the fat female, her attitude is like Chola from the hood.

My experience , the selection of their hats was not what I expected . I was walking around even next to an employee who ignored me and asked others if help they needed. Only after I was holding a couple of hats that I wanted did the employee ask if I needed help . Too many employees at store with same shift. I also felt they kept watching me to see if I was going to steal from the store. The hats are great and fit perfect . Unfortunately they are too expensive in my opinion and recalling my experience there I see y they assume others would steal . SUPRISE SUPRISE SHOCKED THE STAFF WHEN I PAYED WITH MY CC. HAHAHA ?

Called Lids last minute for a gift idea and Chris was very helpful. He put two hats for us on hold, recommended this awesome affordable engraving, and the wait wasn't very long at all which was a bonus. Thanks again Chris for the great service. Also, quick shout to the employee in the Robinson Jersey, I didn't catch her name but she saw us waiting and was very attentive and kind as well.

employees need to work on how to greet costumers and show them respect the attitude was just too much no wonder the whole shop was empty like I’m sorry I wanted to buy something.

STOLE MY MONEY & NO HAT! Took my payment, 45 min waiting for 3 broken CC machines to work (which employees argued about while I waited) . Got CHARGED $60 on my CC. Martin and Juanita, Mgr. (next day) "It didn't go through, we can't see it on our end." Showed valid charge to card. They KNOW they're 3 payer units don't work, They KNOW split payments cause hiccups and yet, they too my CC payment. I've got 4 hours into this mess! VERY BAD MANAGEMENT. Juanita would not provide me RYAN CAMBPELL's contact info or corporate office info. The store lost money too, cause they still have my personalized hat. TERRIBLE and unprofessional.

The customer service at both the Santa Clarita and Northridge location are stellar. I went in looking for a gift for my husband and the store associates we eager to assist at both stores. I look forward to shopping here again.

Customer service= awful. Walking in here reminded me of high school all over again... The women working didn't even greet me, even though it was empty inside and they had nothing better to do except get their conversation interrupted by a customer.. ANYWAYS, even asking a question felt like I was being criticized for existing. If you can help it, buy your hat at a different Lids or something, or else face the wrath of insecure women employees.

First off, there's a bunch of kids in there (probably ages 16-20) who are employees just bsing with one another. Not courteous to customers, no help whatsoever. I went in to get a Lakers hat with custom embroidery, the "O" looked like an "A" and they did the colors the inverse of what I wanted. One of the girls in there started making excuses then said "I'm not even on the clock" and had another employee help me as they laughed about it. They didn't have another of the same hat so I just asked for my money back. The manager discussed with one of the employees and they agreed to give me a refund. Not once did any of the employees apologize for their mistake. Not even the manager! Never coming back to this Lids again. Lids please hire more competent, friendly, responsable ppl to represent your store. What a waste of time!!
