The business model is lacking, I purchased three suites during the Black Friday sale on Saturday, on Sunday I received a call from the sales person saying corporate stated that to get the discount all three suites needed to be measured by the 28th that's today. I have groomsmen in other counties that work and it would be difficult to schedule in the time allowed (after the purchase). Then after talking to corporate to resolve the issue they stated nothing can be done, so rather then allow more time to get the measurements scheduled they would rather lose the sale of three suites. Good to know the business is running so well that losing the sale versus allowing for a week to schedule measurements is a non issue, for me that's a bad business practice, money was in hand measurements are common practice 30 days prior to the event which was not till April 2024 so time was not an issue. But since nothing could be done I canceled my order and will go to another company with my business that is more understanding and willing to sell their suites than have haggle over measurements, I also will not use them ever in the future either, because if they are this hung up on measurements what else would they do or not do? The resulting situation is frustrating, maybe I don't understand what getting measurements impacts the company or costs the company, so that is the unknown factor in my review, but I just dropped 800.00 on suites and was told it would be more if the suits did not get measured by the end of sale, to me that's a bait and switch, especially when they are going to measure me again in 4 months. Go figure.***Update***Received a call today 11/29/23 from Friar Tux Northridge, stating they had been able to fulfill my original order as requested and could do the measurements at a later date. So I have moved my 2 star rating to a 3 star because they made the effort to correct the situation. But it still makes no since to have to go through this for the purchase of suites. The money is not the issue if it was not Flack Friday I still would have bought the suites, the difference of the BF sale and normal sale with wedding discounts was about 10% the tax on the sale is higher than that... so cost was not a factor.The reason given to me today was that the sales person made a mistake in what he quoted me, this is the canned response we all get. But I cant accept that, in the fact that the sales person confirmed the purchase with the manager before we closed the purchase, guess what? It was all good. Then I closed the purchase and the above details are the result.But that bothers me also, maybe I am old, maybe I have a stronger since of team man ship among my fellow employees and a stronger ethic to admit when a system or process is broken and take my lumps. But personally, I would never throw a team member under the bus, its bad for moral and its bad for the company image. I would say "I" had made the mistake and that "I" tried to correct it, and that "I" was at fault, because ultimately the manager trains the sales person and what the sales person does is directly in relation to how they are managed or not managed and how they are trained or not trained.In addition I talked to corporate which supported the same result, so it was not the sales person but the system in which the business set policy to. At FT just try and get measured more than a month out... they will not do it... look at the reviews. That's policy, so the system or process is broken, because it directly goes against policy.END RANTAll in all they corrected the issue, I had good overall experience with my purchase, the product is of good quality and the multiple locations is a great bonus for those that have parties in other parts or the state. I would recommend them again but with the foreknowledge that it may not be as cut and dry as you may think.

Awesome place to get fitted and rent superb clothes from. I also had excellent help getting sized up and prepared for my best friends wedding. I couldn't recommend this place more! Also I thought it was awesome you can drop your suit off at any Friar Tux location, especially since I was so far away from my hometown for the reception.

I was helped super quickly and the associates were all so nice! I was a bit nervous since I was a female getting fitted for a suit, but everyone was so kind and excited to give me all the inside fashion tips! Plus the price was decent and the suit fit great!

Got a whole damn suit, without the socks and tie or belt, for under $200. For a 1 day wedding. Rented for 3days. Awsome pricing if you ask me

They don't know how to measure the sleeves were too long plus they messed up on the whole room's party with the suits. They didn't give socks and a square pocket to groomsmen and they didn't even alter his pants. The lady who took the order messed everything up in their Glendale store. Will definitely never go there or any of their locations

Friar Tux was so nice! Had lots of options for colors and ties. My husband looked great in his green suit and floral tie.

I went to a black tie wedding recently and rented a tuxedo from Friar Tux in Northridge. Val and Tyrone each helped me on different days and provided a perfect customer experience. These two know their product, know how to fit people well and are just genuinely friendly. I appreciated Val's confidence when she said they could fit people of all shapes and sizes. Friar Tux offers a wide variety of suit styles and colors to go with any color scheme. I was even able to color match my tie and pocket square to my wife's dress. I looked great!All in all it was an A+ experience. Thank you!

Definitely recommend if you're looking for a suit or tux (like us last minute ) and Tyrone Jefferies definitely knows his stuff. He helped my husband find the perfect suit to rent for a wedding we were in this Saturday. So glad we didn't have to drive all the way downtown, 15 minutes away from home. Tyrone made it super easy and John was like he's a damm good salesman! Super friendly dude and he was totally honest with color schemes. Thank you so much! Definitely coming back

I Rented a full Tux piece including socks and shoes for a wedding. I definitely will never come back. I’m glad it wasn’t my wedding lol.Every groomsman had something wrong or even missing stuff. We got fitted a month before the rental and oh boy is it annoying to deal w these kids. Two groomsmen had to re fit and re do the fitting on the pants literally a few days before the weeding event. I had to go back several times to get stuff they had missed.I would never come back or would I recommend to anyone. Probably the worst at what they do. Don’t bother commenting back managers and owner. As a business owner my self you know when you aren’t paying much attention to detail on your business. Stay on top of things for next customer’s as they deserve better service. ?♂️

I would say the first time my fiancé and I went in it was great, i believe his name was Sean who helped us out, and then said it was too early to get fitted which was understandable we were just there just to see what options they have so I clearly remember him saying the groom usually has about 2 fittings and the groomsmen go 1 month before the wedding so he said make an appointment in August and another one in September so I did. I made one in August and we show up and he told me we should’ve waited until September and I was confused and I said you told us one in august and then September and he said “no I didn’t” and then followed by“oh I meant towards the end of the month” how were we suppose to know that?? and then my fiancé was interested in some shoes to purchase, they had nothing in stock, so he gave my fiancé a size 11 shoe to try on which his size is 8/9. How would he be able to see if the shoe is the right fit if it’s not the right size. He was also interested in a certain type of bow tie and pocket square they had last time and they didn’t have that in stock. It seemed the stuff we were interested in nothing was available. So last weekend, we went with Northridge Suit Outlet and him and his groomsmen got fitted and had a lot of options and gave my fiancé his tux for free since the groomsmen purchase their suit and even got a discount on their suits!

Overall good staff, Val is great. She’s very helpful.My biggest complaint is the fact that I created my event months ago for my wedding, Months! At everything felt so last minute if that makes sense.We couldn’t get fitted until a month before the wedding, we weren’t allowed to come in a group to get fitted.Nothing fit after being measured twice for most of my groomsmen.Honestly, if you’re a last minute person and need something last minute. Perfect spot to go to.If you want a good experience for an invite like your own wedding this is NOT the spot to go to. You’re better off going to Northridge Suit Outlet. I regret not going there.Won’t be going back for any event nor recommend this to anyone. Too bad because there’s another wedding to do and I would’ve gone back if I had a better experience. TERRIVLE SERVICE. Went in today to look at tux for my fiancé because this place was recommended by our friend. We wanted to get suit for groom and 10 other guys. BUT the person assisting us was not friendly. From the moment we entered the building was extremely RUDE! Didn't even try to tell us anything about tux or any acknowledgment the moment we entered. I didn't get his name but blue eyes and light brown hair, we left store after 10 mins of awkward encounter and rude customer service. Lost my business.
