I got a couple pairs of slacks tailored here and one of my pants was lengthened about 1.5” too long. When I spoke with the owner, he insisted that it was “my fault” and that he wouldn’t fix the issue for free.
I asked to have the pants lengthened by about 3/4”, but when I put the pants on after the work was done, they were definitely too long (more than a full break, when I was looking for a quarter break). Plus, the leg openings were not straight.
If the owner wasn’t so insistent that his mistake was “my fault”, I wouldn’t rate this so poorly. But I definitely wouldn’t come here again.
Also, when I first came in to drop off the pants, he felt compelled to tell me about which previous customers of his were the most difficult. The comments were borderline racist and made me very uncomfortable.
I would not support this business or take any clothes here again.

I used to have Gianni tailor all of my slacks and suits from high school in the 80s through the mid 90s when I got out of college. I always knew he'd fix everything perfectly. I moved away, and ended up in an industry that didn't require tailored clothes.Fast forward 28 years. My son is getting married, so I bought a new suit (first in 30 years ). I live in outside of LA County, and don't know of a tailor in my neck of the woods. I wondered to myself if Gianni was still in business, so I Googled Fontana di Trevi. Boy, am I glad I did! I took my suit in, and Gianni remembered me! I told him there was no hurry, so I picked it up today, and he, at 80 years old, is still an artist. My suit is absolutely, beautifully tailored. I have my old tailor back! Thanks, Gianni!

Johnny is super friendly and great at his work. Very personable and willing to work with you. I took two pairs of wide leg pants, one denim and one sheer, to be hemmed and he did an excellent job. Great value as well.

A friend referred Gianni to me when I asked her who could Taylor my sons pants last minute. And when I say last minute, he flew in on a Friday, went here to get fitted, and had the items back the following morning just in time for Prom day. We thank you so much Mr. Gianni for doing this so last minute and also tailoring his suit jacket. We have found a new place for alterations and pray that he continue to stay safe and healthy.

I really enjoyed the service here at Fontana! The owner was very kind and my clothing was tailored perfectly and the quality was great! He also was able to complete it a day early and was great with communicating about the order! Overall amazing experience here!

Fontana Di Trevi Tailor Shop has been around since my now 35 year old son was a baby! The owner is delightful and very good at what he does. He is old school and takes pride in his work. Very kind man too. Does excellent work.
