This review is for Angel and Andrea (I hope I spelled her name right)!!!
There was a mix-up that ended up working out perfectly! I had initially ordered four 16x20 canvas prints from this location but was told by an associate a few hours later that they were out of ink so he was going to cancel my order. I then called 3 other CVS’s to make sure they had enough ink and canvases before placing another online order, and was able to place a pickup order for the Balboa location. I did not look at the prints when I picked them up and only realized that they were printed horribly and set incorrectly on the canvas after I had already given them to my family. All of the prints were grainy and faded (I actually thought that was normal lol) and one had an entire white gap at the bottom of the canvas and was coming apart. Not to mention, the black backing on the back was falling off on all of them.
Anyways, fast forward to this morning and I receive an email from this location that my prints were done. I was confused because the associate was supposed to cancel my order, but thankfully he didn’t! I spoke to Andrea on the phone and explained the mix-up, and then asked if I could switch out the canvas with the white gap. She asked the manager, Angel, and said yes! I came in hours later and spoke with Angel, and when he pulled out the canvases, I was shocked at how clear, vibrant, and clean they were! Nothing like the ones I received at the Balboa CVS. Angel said that this is how the prints are supposed to be and I received bad ones. In the end, I decided to just take the canvases printed here and return all of the other ones. Angel took his time to apply the black backings to all of the prints and explained to me that they shouldn’t have been falling off if applied correctly! We chatted for a bit while he finished up and then I was on my way with 4 perfect prints! Angel is professional, understanding, and genuinely cares about people based on how he was assisting me and chatting with another customer! He also said that if I ever come across any issues like this, he’d always help out. I can’t thank him enough!! Definitely recommend this location for amazing service and people. :)

The store is poorly staffed. Everyone is pretty much required to do self checkout because there are rarely staff members at the cash registers to assist customers. Most staff members act like they don’t want to be there and complain when somebody asks for help finding items. Actually, CVS would do much better if the employees would be nicer and actually help people find items. They would probably sell more and make more money. so disappointed and unhappy with this store!

They have a sign outside posting their hours. Closing at 12am. I got there at 11 and the lady with a heavy accent said they’ve been closing at 11 for 6 months. Yet their sign outside and online business hours say otherwise. Bunch of lazy, rude people managing that store

They close at 11 and had the gates shut at 10:55pm. I understand if it's a restaurant but you're a pharmacy. Your store should stick to their scheduled hours posted on the door or website. It's 02/13/2024 I was delivering for Instacart

I won't give it 1 star because I'm sure there's a miscommunication between the store manager and corporation.But I see on CVS website that it close at 12 midnight but when I went there, they chose at 11pm. The guy told me, "No, we close at 11pm.". Someone made a mistake so that need to be fixed.What makes it sadder, since when they stop being 24 hours? I can't blame them for it because of crimes and homeless. I'm guessing it happen after they close the store on Chatsworth St store for the same reason.

Update: DON'T SHOP AT CVS!! THEY DONT PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS BEST INTEREST. I provided all the information that CVS corporate asked me to provide on my stolen gift card funds. They closed the case. Never called me like they said. I called 6 different times to get the status of my stolen gift card funds. So for the status they told me they can't do anything for me. Basically the thieves have won. I was so upset. I asked nicely to speak to a manager and no manager would give me the curtesy of hearing me out. They don't do that they said. Then they proceeded to tell me that the store the gift card was for the as liable. I need to contact them for the money. Well I work for that store and I know CVS pays for those gift cards and not to mention CVS has the gift cards out in the open for everyone to tamper with. So why is the other store liable!?!? CVS won't take accountability for my stolen funds even with all the proof I had!!! They even told me on the phone they know the gift card fraud has been happening a lot. Well then why not protect your customers and put the gift cards behind the counter!! That simple. They said they have started to do it. It. It doesn't take that long to move some gifts cards . I WILL NEVER SHOP AT CVS AGAIN! They lost me as a customer for the way they treated me.

First time to this location. The store is large, clean, and well organized. Also, the cashiers are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.

Placed an order to be picked up. Waited an hour with no response. Made multiple phone calls until I reached a human being Who advised me that they don’t have the item. They had it on their website stating it was in stock but apparently it wasn’t. No email no text, just let their customers sit and wait for an order that cannot be filled. I will never do this again.
