Recently visited this store from out of the area. Not necessarily Costco's fault. I was almost finished shopping and came upon a sample for pasta sauce--many people were sampling. It was good and I asked the person about it. At the same time there was a black woman standing there talking to the person; not sure if she was also a sample person bc they seemed to know each. The black woman nastily said: well it must be good if salty white people like it. The sample person didn't respond. What the hell is wrong with these people?! Just shut up and mind your business! I really hope that she doesn't work for Costco with that atrocious behavior.

The food line needs a more clear line direction. We see four yellow line division but kitchen staff says there's only one line. Make it into a zigzag like before so we won't be confused. Please

Alfredo at the Optical Department at Costco on Tampa Avenue is a keeper. Took his time to address our concerns regarding the purchase of eyewear. Very patient and knowledgeable. BTW, we saved a lot of money buying at Costco.

Things have changed but Costco quality has been going down steadily after the pandemic. I also thing the pandemic was an excuse but I digress. Hopefully things get better but time will tell.

Love this location. The food court goodies never ever disappoint. Now that you can self check out and then just pick up at the window I feel like it's so much easier and faster. As for the selection of things to buy this Costco seems to have it all! Practically always find what I need and then there's the impulse purchases lol yes the check out lines can be long but it's Costco so it's to be expected. The staff is friendly and try and get you out as fast as they can. Also love me a good sample day and they often have a big variety of samples that I actually get full.

Almost all the technicians have such an attitude and one even tried to embarrass me loudly based off the medications I was picking up saying it so loud many people heard

I went to Costco Northridge, CA on March 5, 2023 around 3ish in the afternoon to change the extension name in my account. So, here's what happened. First, last December when my wife went to get gas our membership needed to get renewed. She went to renew it but what she was told that our membership was closed. She was forced to open her new membership. She called me and let me know what happened. So I called customer service and was told that I just needed to pay for the renewal and it will be okay again. And that's what I did. So, today, March 5, 2023 I went to Costco Northridge, CA to change the name in my account. I was told that I was not the primary person in the account. I've been using and paying this account membership for the last 11-12 years and never knew that I was not the primary. I was the one opened this account and whoever helped me that time made a mistake already. Anyway, there was this employee helping me said that I cannot make any changes. He called his manager to help me. So the manager told me that my wife needs to be there to make any changes. I told him about the mistake that I just found out that all this time I was not the primary person in the account. So, he suggested to close my account and open a new one by refunding me my renewal which I did last January. Okay, I was fine with that. But here's what happened next, another customer on my left side came in with the same purpose like mine. He's not the primary person and wants to change it to his name as primary. The manager (different manager helping him) told him right away that if you can call your wife on the phone and get a verbal authorization then we can do the change right away. And that's what the other customer did and he's concern got solved right away. So, after hearing and seeing what happened and I spoke to the other manager who helped this customer that how come the manager who helped me with the same situation asked me to close my old account and open a new one. But what you did with that customer was so simple and I felt like you cared more about that customer because you were telling me that he has a business account! I felt like this is unfair. Yes, he has business account and I have an executive account and the treatment of customers are different??? You prefer helping better customers with only business account? This was the manager told me that oh, because he has a business account. I have been a very good customer for the last many years and never complained about like this. But this time, I feel like I was being discriminated! I was not helped fairly!!! I felt humiliated because the customer who was helped so great with respect was just looking at me! What happened to me at Costco Northridge, CA was a bad customer service and profiling their customers on how they will help them. It was really a bad experience. I was really hurt and sad of the service I got from those 2 managers. Costco Northridge, CA you need to change this right now. I will tell all my family members and friends about my bad experience today. I am not happy of what they did to me!!!Archie :( :( :(

Bought a new couch online from Costco on black Friday. It was marked down 900.00 from 1700.00.What a great deal. They sold out in a day.Costco unboxed and set up the entire sectional. I couldn't be happier with my purchase from Costco.

My wife and I came to this Costco to do our shopping since we were in the area. We came an hour before they close so they were not busy at all. The layout is different from the Van Nuys one so you just have to get familiar with where things are to not get lost. We were able to find everything we wanted and didn't have any bad experience here. The workers here are friendly and I saw them walk another customer to the aisle of the product they were looking for. The store is nicely organized and finding parking was easy once you get into the plaza where Costco is at. The self checkout is a huge lifesaver here now that they have that feature.

My fiance and I went into Costco today looking for a new TV. After quite a bit of time comparing them all and choosing the one that best fit our needs, we were stopped by John. He had asked us if we had any questions or anything about the TV's, which I thought was nice as this was a Sunday and the store was pretty busy! He took the time to review the protection plan with us, which was a happy surprise to us since it was free! He seemed like a genuinely nice person and really wanted to help us out (which he did). I just wanted to acknowledge John and thank him for his excellent customer service.

Pro tip: YOU DO NOT NEED A MEMBERSHIP TO BUY ALCOHOL. Costco is a membership free party booze heaven. It's illegal in CA and some other states to require membership to purchase alcohol Their vodka and multiple other Kirkland brand liquors are rumored to be from the same distillery as very fancy brands (grey goose, etc, Google it). But it's definitely far from grey goose prices, The big 1.75L "handle" bottle of Kirkland vodka is circa $13....and for stuff that doesn't give my 30 year old body a hangover like cheaper brands like Smirnoff give me now. Definitely come here for alcohol if you are having a party (or not) and if you have a membership or not. Product shoutouts: 1. I love the Rao's pasta sauce. I usually add a ton of garlic and onion and simmer and doctor any store bought pasta sauce. You can legit dump this in the pan and eat this and it tastes like a decent restaurant. 2. All the premade deli area meals. The huge Caesar salad, taco night kit, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, GIANT chicken pot pie, and chicken salad made with their rotisserie chicken on their fresh croissants are my indulgent lazy dinner nights that taste amazing. 3. The bakery has great fresh baked stuff.
