On July 20 at 12AM I dropped off an optima battery to charge they told me it was gonna be a two hour charge so I came back in two hours and they told me that it needed another two hours because it wasn’t fully charged. I came back at 4 o’clock to pick up my battery and they have told me that my battery had popped open on their charger and told me that we’re not going to reimburse me or change my battery because my warranty expiration has expired my battery was practically brand new hardly ever use the car that I had it in and I exchanged it the year before because that was bad and they gave me a new one and it’s only a year old battery they told me they weren’t gonna take any responsibility. They told me that I had to take my bad battery with me. The managers there were no help and weren’t even taking no responsibility for their actions. Note that optima batteries are seal tight and aren’t open like regular batteries. My battery was gushing out acid. Horrible business management wouldn’t recommend going here. They are never attending people on time always fighting with customers.

Terrible service there is a young girl
That doesn't help at all, plus it doesn't provide good customer service. I hope they improve of all the autozones I would never return to this one

Chrystal was very professional, and she knew what she was doing. She was thorough while changing the battery on my daughter's car today. She did it with the utmost patience care. Overall, SUPERB customer service. And I like the ample parking. Will return again. Another lady at the register was very nice, too.

My trip for an air filter for my engine took four different stores. But, I finally got both filters in a lesser brand name. Boy, the price has tripled since the last time I purchased air filters.
Thanks to President Biden s inflation.
Three times what I paid a little over a year ago.

Terrible Service! Even giving 1 star is being to generous. I would highly recommend not using this location, the sales team seemed to busy to be bothered with my car problem, and offered no recommendations to assist with my car issue, only that I should bring my car back in the morning. I’m not really sure how this place got 4.2 stars, when the sales team has subpar customer service. Please save your time and money and drive to a different location.

On 4/29/24, I had a newly purchased battery installed by an employee, who did not fasten the battery well to the car, and did not tighten the positive terminal clamp well enough in my opinion. I have mentioned this to another employee after the installation that I don't think the battery is well fastened to, and asked to check it, but that employee said that the installer knows what he is doing. Yesterday, upon finding out the above problems, I had to visit the North Hollywood Autozone store to correct it. The manager of the Northridge store today, 5/4/24 on the phone at 1039 am has said there is nothing they can do to reimburse me for time spent, or possible damage to the battery as a result of excessive vibration. The manager said: "Autozone doesn't have to install the battery, and does it as a courtesy. But improper installation of the battery, leads to excessive vibration, premature battery failure and voiding of the battery warranty. So, what happens when my battery fails prematurely?

Davie was the best and so kind and helpful. Walked out to my car to make sure I was getting the right size wipers. Once confirmed, he put them on for me although they were so busy. Outstanding customer service.
