The apartment smelled like stale pooh when I toured it, and I mean every room. That was only half as bad as the way the building manager smelled. If you're interested in smelling good and entertaining guests, do not stay here. Your friends and family will never forgive you.

Rented here for a year with some roommates and really enjoyed it! Scott is a wonderful manager, extraordinarily amiable and considerate. Our security deposit was pretty low (I think it was half a month's rent?) and we got almost all of it back upon move-out. Maintenance requests were filled quickly and efficiently. Neighbors in the building and next doors can get pretty loud but that's honestly expected for the area and how young most of the people are. The apartment we had didn't get much natural light but the amenities are nice and updated, laminate wood floors and clean new carpets in the bedrooms. The complex is walking distance to the fun part of the Arts District -- lots of bars, coffee shops & restaurants, comic book store & art galleries/theatres, metro station, small library, and the Vegan Market & Farmer's Market every weekend! Nice neighborhoods nearby for walking/running. Overall very good experience!

4-5-21 - Right now we are sitting listening to loud bass and backbeat of our neighbor's music. Since before 11-1-20 we have been dealing with loud music. All hours of the day and night. We have called and documented the information to the police. We have tried to explain this to current resident manager - but that current persons response is that we are 'crazy' and it is to be expected. According to the LAW, the police and the City Ordinance this is not acceptable. Greystone even threatened us with a letter from their lawyers that management was doing everything they can. They have not - CALL the LAPD for the facts. We are living with watching TV with our neighbors' backbeats all day long and sleeping with pillows over our heads and earplugs. If you are okay with noise at all hours - or living like your on a college dorm - this place is for you.

I was a resident at Windfaire Apartments for a year and 10 months. The original property manager was unorganized and just not as thorough as one would like. She was really not the most ideal person you would want handling or rectifying tenant issues. However, she moved on to another building and next came Scott. A breath of fresh air and a total change. Thank heavens! As soon as he arrived, he sent everyone a welcome letter introducing himself and granting an open door policy. My roommates and I truly appreciated that. I lived in a 3 bedroom apartment on the second floor. It was amazing for natural light as my roommates and I are all artists and work in the entertainment industry in some capacity. As a resident, the rent did go up in 2019, which was unexpected. Many of the changes that would be implemented did not fully benefit the current tenants, but moreso new tenants. Then came COVID which halted all construction and upgrades. Cleaning was done annually and the lobby was always neat. While living there, we did get new washers and dryers which was long overdue. Plus, you had the option to add value to the washers and dryers through an app on your phone, which was life changing. The rooftop and gym were amazing and will truly be two of the highlights I will miss the most. Parking surrounding the building was tough. Like trying to find a needle in a haystack. If you had any company coming over, you definitely had to let them know to allow at least 15 minutes to find parking. The building is located in a convenient spot near several restaurants, a huge park and Ralphs, which was down the street. It is also not that far from Burbank, which was a plus. Parking in the garage was a bit of a pain, because there were 2 cars to one parking space. All of my roommates had a car, so we often times had to move one another's car in order to pull out of the garage. Also, at least one roommate's car was parked on the street at night. Since we had a 3 bedroom apartment, I thought we should've at least had 3 parking spaces. The building is pretty safe and located near several freeways, which was very convenient for us drivers. Right before I left, receiving packages became an issue. Packages started to come up missing, which had never been the norm since I lived there. I wish I could've stayed, but due to COVID both of my roommates relocated and it was time for me to move into my own space. Windfaire was totally outside of my budget for a one bedroom apartment. If they would've worked with me in terms of rent, I probably would've stayed. Overall, I enjoyed my time there. The management is superb, the place is clean, it has an elevator, it's convenient and has tons of natural light.

I want to start by saying that I do not live here. With that being said I have visited this complex on two separate occasions, a few months ago and over a year ago and Scott showed me around both times. I was so close to moving in the 2nd time but then Covid happened so my roommate and I had to hold off on moving. However this apartment complex was amazing. There were wood floors throughout, the bedrooms were a great size, a ton of closets and storage space. Both bathrooms were huge. I really wish I could have lived here but I appreciate the professionalism and kindness of Scott and the management team. Great location and secure building.

Based on the tour, move-in logistics, and ease of hand over of apartment this place is excellent. The apartment I leased is clean, has brand new appliances, and very spacious for an affordable price. Scott has been a pleasure to work with. Neighborhood seems very walkable with restaurants, bars, etc. all over. Will update this review after a year.

Jose was amazing!!!!! I had so many small things to be taken care of. I thought it would take a few days of them coming by and working on them. But low and behold Jose came by and knocked them all out! Very happy with his work and he was very kind. Much appreciated!
