Stretch is a master with music gear. No surprise that he just made my amp sound better than it ever has. And in past years Stretch has always given superb service to all of our studio gear. Zita is an amazing keyboard technician. She's been fixing my Nord over the course of the past few years whenever it gets banged up from tours. Over time she actually told me how to fix little things myself so I didn't have to keep coming in. They're also very fairly priced and Zita takes the time to explain everything and the whole process of fixing up your gear and how she problem solves. They also have a great turnaround rate regardless of how busy they are, they really communicate a realistic expectation of when they can complete the repair. I don't go anywhere else for repairs because Zita and Stretch are such great people!

Stretch and Zita are the absolute, most wonderful of people. They are so incredibly thoughtful and kind. I walked into their shop with my Les Paul last week that had some scratches on it, and Stretch immediately was able to tell that the scratches were actually factory sanding/buffing issues. They directed me with the best course of action to take. Stretch even adjusted the tailpiece for me so as not to put too much pressure on the bridge of the guitar. You can just tell when someone is so incredibly skilled and knowledgeable about the instrument, and couple that with being understanding and really listening to a customers needs - absolutely priceless!

I took a Nord Electro to Valley Sound fearing the worst. Pretty sure it was suffering from an old coffee spill courtesy of my son, and I knew ordering parts would mean a lot of time and expense. It was neither. Zita took it apart and went to work like a surgeon, cleaning out the residue--she even found a dime in there!--vacuuming out the cat hair, and getting the Nord back on its feet in a couple days. And she explained everything she did very clearly. Valley is a bit of a drive for me, but my usual repair guy was out for a few weeks, so I gave it a shot. They now have a customer for life. Sorry, "usual repair guy"!

Both Stretch and Zita at Valley Sound are super cool. Nobody could figure out an issue/bug I had with a Trace Elliott TA 100 acoustic guitar amp that had an explosive popping sound. Stretch researched it, figured it out and got the amp working like new and super quiet! I've also had pedals serviced there and always done well w/o any issues!

Fantastic !! Stretch is a Great Amp Tech. I took 2 of my amps to another amp repair in the valley and they both came back to me sounding like total Crap -$500 in the crapper. So I brought my one amps that was supposedly repaired by the other valley tech to Stretch and he made my amp sound Fantastic! How it's supposed to sound. He told me the last guy didn't even bias my amp correctly. Now I just dropped off my other amp that was supposedly repaired by the other guy. I can't wait to get it back. It might take a little bit 4-6 weeks But the results are AMAZING !! I would recommend Valley Sound Music to all the professional players , like myself. Stretch really knows his stuff- No BS. When I needed some very specific amplifier repair parts, at least half a dozen local guitar/amp techs ALL referred me to “Stretch” at Valley Sound. Not only did Stretch make a point to talk on the phone to discuss my needs, he went above and beyond to supply the parts I desperately needed. Without his help, my project wouldn’t be perfect! His shop is small, and crowded with literally everything you’d need for your amplifier repair, or custom build. The guy is an absolute genius, AND super cool to work with. Thanks so much, Stretch!!

I took my vintage Maestro Stage Phaser to a “tech” here in my hometown and he just had no clue on how to repair it. I took it to Valley Sound and they had to rebuild the board due to broken traces. When I picked it up it worked just like the one that I used to have in the 70’s. Very family oriented environment and very loving and caring people. I highly recommend them! BTW, I was pleasantly surprised at their very fair rates!
