Leila at NoHo West recommended the Trader Joe's mint gum (something I never would have chosen for myself) and it was great. Even my 9yo likes it. Definitely, will purchase again.

Worst spot for Traders joes. Parking takes 20 mins if you are lucky. But thats all Trader joes. They strategically find these spots in city where they know parking lot is not made to accomodate the traffic. But let me go into details why parking is a mess. Its because people are not able to leave as fast they think they would. Primarily because when you go inside, the staff is always stocking giving the pretense of "stocking fresh foods". Come on give us a break. The food has been sitting in backroom since morning or even few day before. So you want customers to believe that the food just got in ?? Really!! That's the artificial hype they build up to make it look like its fresh. So now these stocking staffers are always in way no matter what hour of the day you go. Takes another 20 mins even shopping for 5 items. And finally the cashiers, most of the them try to be over friendly, asking about your day and weekend plans but as soon the groceries are bagged , they cant even seem to give you the recepit with a nice thank you.
I hate making the trip there. And gradually I have reduced my shopping there to very few things and probably will stop going there. They have their niche customers who like to put up with all the "pretense" in the name of getting organic or fresh foods. But mostly you can find some stuff at other stores for the same price without all the mind games and less time in and out.
