Nisa and her assistant did a traditional weave install on me. The work is nothing short of amazing! My weave looks so natural and healthy. The salon is relaxing and everyone was professional too.

Nisa is the best! I will literally come into her shop looking a hot mess and leave looking like a goddess! Seriously, she is that good! I always just go with what she thinks is good and she always delivers a beautiful and thoughtful style!

I just got home and cried all the way home. I can not stop crying because this is the most ridiculous salon I have even been to. First I make an appointment at 9 and the owner shows up 30 min later. Fine life happens but I am on a schedule and I feel like a professional should always be on time, your clients have a life and it does not revolve around the stylist time. I let that go and sat in the chair to get my hair done. It took an hour for her to even get started because she was setting up. Ok fine I will move things around for you so I can get my hair done. 3 hours in the salon and my wig is finally on. But wait she has to take it off because she can't do it. But her co-worker is going to do it for me after she is done with her client. Do the owner that I made an appointment with didn't know how to glue a wig down??? That's insane if she couldn't do then I would have payed for the cornrows and left hours ago. Now my wig is damaged and my hair line is damaged with the glue. She should have payed me $125 for sitting there wasting my time and messing up my wig and hair line. I can't stop crying cuz now I have to figure out how to remove wig glue and I have so much to do today.

Always on point and professional. She dyed my locs so well and really explained to me how to prevent breakage. I would certainly recommend her to anyone in the north Hollywood area looking for an excellent hair salon!

I called and made an appointment on Sunday morning 04/14 for a Friday 04/19 slot. I eagerly show up Friday (10 minutes before my appointment) and am told before I even get my foot in the door that "I know that you were told that I would do your hair today, but I just don't have time!!" I then reminded her that I only made an appointment for two quick and simple French braids (I washed and conditioned my hair at home in preparation)... Tiffany then proceeds to say that she had 2 more "extensive clients" coming in later that she had to take care of. Glad to know my time and money isn't good enough to be a valued customer... A simple phone call would have sufficed. They had 6 days to give me a heads up. Now I don't even know if I can make another appointment elsewhere on so short of notice before my flight tomorrow morning. What a let-down :/ UPDATE 05/11 5:09 PM: I just got out of rehearsal and I was immediately notified by my manager and my mom, that Tiffany called my business cell (@ 3:49 PM) and harassed my mom about what I assume to be my yelp review...and when my mom lost phone service (understandable, since there's bad signal in the back studios), Tiffany then proceeded to harass her via text message (@ 3:50 PM). My mom doesn't even know what yelp is, we had to explain it to her. I'm utterly shocked by this inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. UPDATE 05/11 5:13 PM: When I posted my update, soon after, I received a threatening text from Tiffany saying: "I have kept records of all messages.. you reap what you sow young lady.. as I stated before be blessed."

I was in dying need of finding a new hair spot for my daughter once her stylist moved to a LA location. Based on the reviews here and how close it was to home I decided to give them a call. Scheduling was a little rough as the lady I requested had specific hours she only worked. (Mom life, totally understandable) we finally got a date and time scheduled. 30 mins before my appointment I get a call that she'll be a little late due to an emergency (fair enough, life happens). Come in at the rescheduled time & the owner tells me that the lady isn't coming at all (a call would've been nice!) & that she has called someone else in. Fine! The owner seemed sweet enough & my daughters hair style is so simple I wasn't too worried! The lady that was "5 mins away" got there 45 mins later and an hour later my daughter is finally in the chair. My daughter is 10, yes, with a head full of hair but this isn't our 1st rodeo! A simple wash, blow dry, flat iron and 2 braids was all that was requested, normal procedure for 2 braids.... I've never in my life sat in a salon for 10 hours!!!!!!!! 10 whole hours!!!! For a wash, blow dry and 2 braids! ... but that's exactly what happened here!! The lady seemed experienced but was absolutely NOT! Even the owner (who again seemed super sweet) had to walk over and give pointers a few times! I'm sure they could all tell I was annoyed & so was my poor daughter! She had no idea what she was doing during the process (obviously since it took 10 HOURS for 2 braids). She then attempted to give my daughter the most uneven trim I've ever seen! At one point I asked her to just stop & she insisted she would hurry up! Smh! Imagine a 10 yr old in a chair for 10 hours, no food, no water and someone just BS'n with her hair the whole time! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! If everything else wasn't bad enough she had the nerve to charge me $150!!!!!! $150 for a wash and 2 braids guys in a 10 hour process!!!! LITERALLY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE HERE. I'll take that 45 min drive before ever stepping in here again & be in and out within 2 1/2 hours and the freshest looking braids for less than half the cost!

I was searching for a new hairstylist that is a specialist in doing braided sew in extensions. I finally found the talented stylist named nisa at honest hair extensions. She is so talented and friendly. I definitely will be coming back to her for all of my hair needs. Thank you Nisa!!!
