**5am wake up call happening daily because the walls are so thin I can hear a small dog barking even while wearing ear plugs**
With the new administration coming in companies are already cutting corners. I’ve listed below what 1600Vine skipped on their QA check before my move in…fyi Worst part is when the apartment said it would take several weeks to replace broken items.
First day move in problems:
Dishwasher did not work and needed to be replaced
Washer stained several thousands dollars worth of clothing and linens of mine and my girlfriends
Dryer was not cleaned and full of last tenants hair and dust
The new dryer doesn’t dry the clothes fully
Bathtub button didn’t work for water
Mailbox key didn’t work
Areas in home untouched and full of dust
Fridge leaks puddles of water every few days
AC was not reset so it was running of the previous tenants schedule waking me up early every day
I’ve asked the apartment nicely to replace the clothes they stained. The maintenance team admitted fault and pending any word from management how they will handle their negligences. Should I still store the stained clothes in my small 1bedroom apartment as evidence or can I trust y’all will remedy the situation?
Also, please monitor the hallways better. Rotten food is being left in hallway trash cans and it stinks up the hallways and elevators

LOVE living at 1600 Vine. All the leasing staff are friendly and it’s so nice to still see them all here after 1 year of living here. We are renewing our lease since we can’t imagine living anywhere else. We are new to LA and were nervous about adjusting to a new place. 1600 Vine felt like home from the beginning. Thank you for making it a great place to live!

Do no not move here!!! They tried scamming me and my friends on my deposit (fixing to have to get lawyers involved) didn’t tell us there wasn’t a dumpster the day we were moving out and said they were gonna charge us for whatever is left. Elevators don’t work have the time, there’s roaches all over the pool, it’s over priced, cars get stolen bi weekly and they don’t/can’t do anything. We paid $4400 a month in rent and it felt like we were living in a 2 star hotel, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemies!! Move to the apartments next door they’re way better

Management is questionable. Especially Jose. There were a lot of times people would be parked in our parking spot and instead of them being real with us, they would just gaslight us about how that happened. “Oh you and another tenant were issued the same spot, you must’ve always been missing each other!”… for 8 months? While we’re both working from home and almost never drive? Just extremely shady. I would understand reasons for them to do shady things if they weren’t constantly gaslighting us every 5 seconds. Most of these “luxury” buildings are just a crappy paint job over a very overpriced building in a “hot” area of town. Also you will never get your or even a portion of your security deposits back no matter how much you clean and fill in holes and scrub walls. It’s actually by design, so make all the holes in the walls you want because it doesn’t even matter.

Finding a new place always it’s stressful, but my experience at this building was very smooth.
I recently had a tour at 1600 Vine and Jose was a gentleman who helped me patiently answering all my questions.
He made me feeling extremely welcomed And comfortable in every step of the tour.
I could not ask for better experience.😍🙏🏽

It is unbelievable that a car was stolen inside a building where you supposed to have 24/7 security since you pay for it. And people also pay for parking spots on top of their rents to get their car stolen! 🤯 I hope they can start doing what they say they provide to the tenants. 🙏🏻

Poor security system! Environment where security measures are insufficient to prevent theft and car theft.

One of the most convenient things about living here is Trader Joe’s downstairs. Plus the 24hour guard in the lobby who helps with deliveries and directions they are amazing. I don’t know why it took me so long to move to this area of town.

Walking through 1600 Vine you don’t even realize you are in the middle of Hollywood. But when you do step out onto the Hollywood Stars you realize how blessed you are to be home in Hollywood.

I live here, and it's awesome! It's huge; I'm disabled, so I get plenty of exercise, by just pacing the halls.

This is solely a review on Justin, a very helpful gentleman apart of the maintenance team at the Hesby Apartments. Justin is kind, knowledgeable, and a hard worker indeed. It was always great seeing him, as he greeted me with a smile every time we met. He had helped inside my apartment on multiple different occasions, including faulty ice machines, refrigerators, and other maintenance requests like plumbing and lighting inside the apartment. Thanks Justin for all of your help!

I’m new to the community, but I have enjoyed the excellent service from the staff with their prompt responses and pleasantries. I also appreciate seeing that the property is not being neglected with new carpet being installed throughout the building, the pool maintenance being attended to and the updates to the club house. Even though I thought they were all easy on the eyes and well kept. I also appreciate that the building premises are attended to with community areas daily trash removal and what seems like daily cleaning and polishing of the elevators and common areas.Given that structure and organization is part of my undocumented love language, I also greatly appreciated them providing me with a move-in checklist along with any links and phone numbers to contact service providers for things such as new gas and electric services.
