Had a check ABS light on my wifes Lexus RX350 recently so I brought it to this shop for diagnosis and repair to ensure we could safely drive our kids around in this car. Harry located stripped wiring to the ABS sensor and gave me the option to replace the sensor or repair the wiring to save some money which I appreciated. While inspecting the brake system, Harry noted that my brake pads and rotors also needed to be replaced so I went ahead and got them replaced as well. It was very convenient to be able to take the car to 1 shop to fix the electrical issues and also get mechanical work done on the car. I've been bringing my other vehicles to this shop as well and would highly recommend this place to others.Services: Vehicle Inspection

I went with a friend to buy my first car at this place. Sadly I feel completely taken advantage of especially cause we were 2 young women. The rubber on my doors is coming off and it was previously glued with something cheap that is melting now. My screen for Bluetooth was messed up. The check engine light came on immediately after purchase. Not to mention he incorporated the registration into the price of the car and never actually did that. These are all things that could have been handled prior to purchase rather then trying to charge me after I bought it when the price of the car was already over value to begin with. Please be careful and pay attention to everything. It was a lesson for me.

I was able to easily reach them regarding the car I saw on Carfax. It was my car purchase and they walked me through any questions I had. It was a very welcoming environment and I will continue to do business with them. Very happy with my choice to purchase a vehicle from here.

Bought a used car from them this week and they were extremely generous and helpful. I had my mechanic check it out before buying and he found a few things that needed tuning up but they happily fixed all of them at no extra cost, and gave me a great deal. Very honest, flexible, solution oriented and great to work with. Very grateful for my experience!

Amazing Service ! After a nearly a month of driving with the brake pads are worn message and my car eventually giving me a message that I'm due for an oil change I finally decided to take my car to a mechanic shop (2012 BMW 535i). I drove into the shop around 10:30 AM (keep in mind I didn't call before hand) and Alen (the Owner) approached and asked what was wrong with the car. I showed all the messages and what not on the screen and he told me to wait 5 minutes in order to clear up a bay. After taking my car he explained to one of the workers what was wrong and what need to be done to the car. When they figured all that out he called and ordered the brake pads, oil, and oil filter for my car. After about 30 minutes the ordered items arrived and told me that the car would be done around 1:30PM or a little later because they were already putting back another car when I arrived. So I was told to wait in the office until my car was competed. About an hour into them fixing my my car I decided to go outside and check up on them. Keep in mind I've been told by other people most mechanic shops won't let you watch at the workers fixing the cars. But when I went up to these guys they were very cool about it even though I was asking irritable questions like what's this, what's that. Which I thought was very cool. Around 12:30 PM Alen came into the office saying that my BMW was finally ready. After signing the invoice and paying my bill I finally left receiving the best service I've ever had at any mechanic shop! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone having car problems and want reliable and trustworthy mechanics!

I have two stories so please read till the end. So I bought a used vehicle from Alan's auto repair. I am happy with my car, but at the time of purchase something went wrong with the smog check and I had to bring it back in(in order to receive my registration in the mail it had to pass smog) to have the issue dealt with. After a couple days the check engine light went on. It was an issue with my fuel cap. Nothing wrong with it, just a bad sensor. When sold the car it had warped rotors and the brakes went bad quick because of it. Took it back and he fixed it free of charge(just outside of warranty) I was happy and this built rapport between him and I so i was happy to bring my roommate in to purchase his first car ever. This is the negative part of the review. So my roommate just bought a nissan Altima from Alan's about three months ago. His registration never came in the mail (due to smog issues) and it had some issues with the motor mount. It was taken back under warranty with alan's auto care. They fixed the motor mount and said everything is good now. Just a couple weeks after the radiator on the Altima was dripping fluid and progressively got worse. My roommate had to repair the radiator elsewhere because north Hollywood is over 50 miles from our home. Radiator is fixed and car is working well now.All fine and dandy until I received a text today with conversation between my roommate and the co-owner of alan's auto repair, Art. After leaving a couple voicemails, My roommate texted him. "Hi art, I am waiting for you to give me a call back. I am not happy with the way you sold me this car being a mechanic. I will be coming in this weekend to get my registration and smoking check." To which Art replied in four separate text messages back to back within a minute. "What exactly are you not happy about?" "Wait before you reply." "I don't GIVE A F***** "Now tell me what is wrong with your car." So all in all my car buying and repair went a little rocky at the start, but was over all satisfied. However the fact that I referred a friend to them and this is the way they treat him is just sad. I've lost the small amount of trust i had for Alan's auto care and i'lI never personally recommend anyone to them after seeing how they treated my roommate. Who spent thousands of dollars at Alan's Auto Care.

Allen's Auto Care is amazing! I went in on a Sunday because my brakes went out and my rotors were warped. Alen fixed them for me on the spot within less than a few hours! He also checked my whole car over to make sure it was good for my upcoming cross-country road trip. Amazing and fast service, great and affordable prices, and my car is running great! Best experience I've had by far. Would highly recommend going here, they treat you like family.
