My husband had gone to this vet long before I become a regular customer. I love the family vibe, the conscious care for the pocketbook, and the quick movement upon visits! This is now our family vet and will be for many more years !

Affordable pet vaccinations and reasonable price doctor visits are only one of the reasons I see Dr Sharp. He's friendly and knowledgeable and has a great manner with pets. I have been coming here for well over a decade.

If you are looking to get a pet health certificate for a cat, I do not recommend this place as neither the doctor nor the vet techs know anything about it. We were told different things over the phone vs. in person and even the doctor was giving us contradictory information than the vet techs. They were googling things in order to proceed with certain vaccines and they ended up wasting a lot of our time. We spent 2.5 hours here and did not get everything we wanted done.

SAVED MY CAT'S LIFE! My 6 year old cat was lethargic and aggressive out of nowhere -- another vet dismissed my concerns as just behavioral but luckily I was recommended to Sharp's by a friend. They were willing to squeeze me in that day (they did ask about her condition -- so perhaps if she was worse or not as ill they wouldn't have taken her). Dr. Sharp (TRULY SO SKILLED) has the most lighthearted demeanor and within 5 minutes of checking my cat was able to diagnose her with an infected anal gland. He gave me treatment options and unlike other places didn't push or offer unnecessary tests/x-rays/additional medications. He's definitely busy and straight to the point but it honestly gives me more assurance than any other vet that I've gone to. I was crying at the front desk and despite being swamped the lady told me to make sure to come back if my cat wasn't feeling better.
You can tell the clinic is really busy and overcapacity but all the staff are incredibly accommodating and so lovely (tell me why everyone was cracking dad jokes -- too wholesome)! Truly feels like going to a family run clinic! I drove all the way from DTLA and I would drive again!
SO MUCH LOVE TO EVERYONE AT SHARP HOSPITAL <33

Dr Sharp is nice enough but the staff is incompetent. Made an appointment for my dog to get one lepto booster and they gave him two vaccines he'd recently gotten instead. This happened to someone else who left a review! They did not consult his file and initially refused to refund me. When Dr Sharp tried to help clear it up, the woman at the desk handed over my dog's file and claimed they "just got" his vaccination record. No, she "just" printed it but I emailed it 4 days ago after I confirmed the appointment--and not sure it would have mattered since she admitted she didn't look at the file? It was bizarre. My dog is ok thankfully but I can't stress enough: don't come here.

Dr. Sharp and the office is great. I’ve been bringing my dogs here for well over 9 years. As someone who works as a dental receptionist, I understand how overwhelming it can get and I appreciate everyone working hard and efficiently.
With that being said, as I was checking out and waiting to pay, another owner and his cat were talking to me and the owner wanted to pet my dog and allowed my dog to get near his cat (which was in a cage). I did find it quite rude that one of the older receptionist’s told me “can you not.” I hate confrontation, so I did not say anything. Then she proceeded to say that my dog was scaring the cat before their appointment and quickly called in the owner and his cat. If that was the case, the owner would have not given my dog permission to get near his cat. She might have been overwhelmed and annoyed with my dog’s whining as he hates being at the vet but you don’t tell someone “can you not.” She could have kindly asked me to moved elsewhere.
Again, I do appreciate everyone’s hard work to try to get everyone seen as soon as possible.

So my son & I decided to try Puzzle Pizza in Woodland Hills based on the Instagram posts. Did not disappoint, especially the veggie pizza! Delicious. But what I couldn't know without coming in for myself, was the great service. Be sure to check them out. Next time, I'm trying the wings too!!

If you want a pompous veterinarian, go here. Found a small Pomeranian dog, took her to Sharp for scanning and an exam, wanted to make sure she was not contagious. This vet missed a highly contagious ear mite infection. I figured something was not right and took her to North Hollywood animal care center. She was treated for the mites and intestinal parasites. What a mistake going to this aloof veterinarian, never again, very uncaring. I was so shocked after seeing glowing reviews. Last place I would take my companion. Staff was horrible too, so much bad to say about Dr. Christian Sharp.

I highly recommend Dr Sharp! I have been going to him for over 10 years. I should have written a review a long time ago but better now than never. I have a 15 year old Chihuahua Jack Russell and I suspected that he needed a teeth cleaning and probably extractions because of his bad breath. He also had a giant wart on his paw I wanted to get rid off. I was nervous because my dog is old and I was scared of anesthesia but Dr Sharp said my dog qualified for it because his blood test was good and his heart is very strong so I trusted him. On May 9th I dropped Ricky off at 9am and when I picked him up at 2pm he looked of course tired but he also looked great. He had 10 extractions, his teeth were now white, no more bad breath and the wart was gone. I kept on telling him he looked so handsome! As soon as we got home I could not believe he already wanted to eat so he did. Then he went in his bed and took a long nap. I am posting a video of him the very next day of his surgery to show how great he was doing 24 hours later. Also it's a family practice. It used to be Christian Sharp, his dad and his mom. His dad retired years ago but his mom is still there at the office. The staff is great too especially Maria who is always so nice and professional. Thank you for taking care of my baby! I am very grateful
