If one is doing a DIY landscaping or garden project and looking for small quantities on sale it's ideal for them. If you have artistic skills you can do what ever you want to do. Also all the items on this 6 Acre lot or on sale all the time.
Being a clearance site it's not well organized or maintained.

Jose was so rude we bought paver from other store we bought almost $12,000 material and they recommended us for this store we went there and he said you have a 1/2 hour when we enter door and after 2 mins he said you guys have to get out from store I’m on lunch can’t believe how he was rude with customers!Stay away with this store management!If he was on lunch

Very helpful guys. Reasonable prices. Would recommend coming here but it's more of a working supply yard than a showroom.

Prime will help you get the job done! I drove all over town looking for Turfstone. After a few stops I was given Christian's name at Prime's Sheldon yard. Chris found a half pallet in the Lankershim yard, I was happy to take it. Gave me such a great deal it made me feel better about the gas I wasted. They even helped load my truck.

No people skills ... they act like they can do with out your Business....Atleast that's the guys answering the phone ... Definitely not going back . I've found other places and even bigger companies happy to have my business ... Such as ANGELUS BLOCK INC. They helped me out and the people there where happy to do so ..... and got what I needed and cheaper then prime ..

Their clearance yard is amazing!!! I bought so many things to transform my yard and home and they always worked everything out with me over more than a year of working. I could not possibly give them enough stars! If this was based on the clearance yard only, they would be getting 10 stars, if I could.Then I had a single experience with their showroom. In the middle of the pandemic, they were very loose with their practices, which does not bother me personally at all, but it does tell me something about who they are as people. One mid-level manager worked out arrangements with me and one of the yard staff was helping to fill my order. In the middle of this process, another apparently higher-level manager showed up and did not like the arrangements made.This human side-project treated me like scum of the earth, completely disregarded my entire year and a half worth of patronizing their business at the clearance yard, and talked to me like no young man should talk to a near 50-year-old woman!! (Actually, like no person should talk to another person, but the disrespect out of the younger generations simply floors me.) I ended up leaving my order there and will never patronize them again! If based on that experience, without the previous year and a half at their clearance yard, they would get no stars and a report to the Better Business Bureau.Now, their standard materials yard (a 3rd location of their business) is pretty decent in standard operation. They don't go out of their way to be accommodating, but they don't go out of their way to be assholes, either. I will buy cheap and easy materials from them. They are less than a mile from my house. The clearance yard has been in the process of a slow relocation over the past two years. Though I will buy from their standard materials yard, and I will always go to the clearance yard when able, I will NEVER again give their showroom my business! Though it's a bit of a drive, Arroyo Building Materials has much better selection and consistently fewer twatwipes.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. They have 4 locations...FOUR!! I visited 3 of them and all THREE had INCREDIBLE customer service. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! They all go above and beyond. Alfredo, all the gentlemen I encountered that offered and sought help from were just fantastic. They also have so much to select from that it inspires you to find projects that need stones/pavers/etc. Their prices are fair and reasonable. Highly, highly recommend.

Chris was a fantastic salesperson. He spent a long time with us supporting us in our decision on what kind of stone to get to cover our barbecue. He was easy to work with, was not pushy, and was informative. His speed at satisfying our order was amazing. It was a special order and, believe it or not, it was delivered to the building supply yard the next day. Thank you Chris, and thank you Prime Building Materials.
