I order portola paints from TN and have had to call them multiple times. They're always incredibly helpful and friendly-- even to the extent of helping me choose the best color samples based on my descriptions.
Most recently, I spoke with Bri who assisted me in ordering roman clay in a color that matches my living room walls and also assisted with the correct quantities so I didn't have wasted materials.
Hard to find great customer service these days, so when I do get to experience it-- then it's worth a review!!

I cannot review the paint because I never got it. This company uses FEDEX for shipping. Fedex left the package on a busy city street in front of a wrong address (nex door). This company totally refused to help with the claim and refused any responsibility. The customer service staff staff is argumentative, rude and unhelpful.

Love the way my salon came out! The girl that helped me was so helpful. Totally forgot her name but would definitely recommend them and i will use them in the future for any other projects

Bough a product 10 days later when I was ready to paint we opened it and there we only half of poured disappointed and they’re not responding to my email don’t recommend

Ordered from here yesterday since saw them on instagram. Wish I saw reviews on Google before placing an order. Staff is terrible hate supporting businesses like this that just sucks on service since I’ve already placed my order it’s a little too late to take back. Won’t be coming back here

Amazing experience with Portola Paints and their staff member Rosie. She was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions about limewash. The color Shelter is absolutely stunning and has completely revived my coffee nook and living area, which is set to become a gallery wall. The high-quality finish of the paint is remarkable, adding an elegant touch to my home. Shipping was quick, and the packaging was damage-proof. I highly recommend these folks!

I use the Roman clay in Shining color. I am thrilled with the result. Looks better in real than on the pictures . I attached a before/ after pictures. I also used the satin paint for the trims and was really disappointed with the quality. I attached pictures as well. Even with stretching the paint, you still can see the brush marks. The quality reminds me the acrylic paint used 20 years ago. I will definitely use the Roman clay in other rooms, but will skip the satin enamel paint. I will get a matching color at Home Depot or Lowe’s, they carry great urethane acrylic paint for cabinetry.

Very cool paints. We're in the home decor business and we were buying a few roman clay paints (what a great name) for our showroom. The owner and staff are very friendly and will spend all the time in the world with you with no expectations. Just good natured people selling an amazing unique product.
