Took in my pug to go get groomed for the first time. They were super dog friendly. Had a great experience with Stephanie. She really helped me out with getting me setup with vital care and my coupons. She also gave me great feedback on my dog and the things I can do to take care of him. She was very polite and helpful. Recommend 100% and I will be going back.

This review is in regards to Groomer Gus . Honestly he is the only person I trust with my babies. They come back super happy and very well groomed . Gus is always letting me know if the pups were scared or if they did a good job during their appointment. I will continue to keep coming to him and highly recommend him to others .

Are usually support businesses that are taking care of animals, but this specific location I had not the best experience with one of their workers.I've asked the lady where is a specific brand cat food and she said we don't carry this brand and after long search I finally found it . So there is it two options or she don't have the right knowledge in the store or she was lazy and not willing to do her job. I didn't feel any help in this location except from one guy that he barely helped too.This is not how things supposed to go .This location is very close to my house, but I rather drive five minutes and not get this energy again

I've been there a few times to buy dog treats etc., staff have always been very helpful. Today, I stopped by to make an appointment to good my Shepard. JENNIFER at the front was exceptionally knowledgeable and courteous. I asked who she recommend to groom dog, she named GUS . Lo and behold he came up holding a finished dog. Very friendly., I liked him immediately as his attention went to my GS. So we made appointment with him. So far based on my interactions with staff, I rate those to a 10 out of 5. Store, 5 out of 5. Good job guys.

WARNING: this business is absolutely terrible. It shouldn't even be running, management must be nonexistent or disconnected from the staff, because they are trained here to treat every customer like trash, and to sell broken items, in my case of broken pet tag, EXPIRED cat food AND dog food IN THE SAME TRIP. I don't think I've ever even seen expired pet food in my whole entire life but somehow this store managed to sell me in the same day for two separate species, expired food. Don't even try to say anything to them because they will just comment about how they are right and you are wrong. You are better going to the Vallarta supermarket or cricket wireless to get what you need for your animals, because this store brings nothing but negativity and poor customer service.

I needed some dog food and didn’t have time to order through the internet; so I went here. Store is clean. Service was nice, but average. Only one clerk and a long line. Prices are not cheap.

Came in to buy replacements for my frozen justfoodfordogs as they were originally be picked by someone via Instacart and they were freezer burned and spoiled. I called and spoke with someone from petco to see whatI needed to do to get replacements, and was told I needed to get refunded by Instacart. I got refunded by Instacart and chose to come in to get the replacements and show them that they sold spoiled food. I came in and one cashier was checking someone out and the other (Kayla) was on her phone doing something. So I waited for the other cashier to help me. I explain to her that I wanted her to see the bad food I got via Instacart and needed to buy replacements. Kayla must have been the person I spoke to over the phone because once she was done playing with her phone, she told the cashier helping me that she wasn't doing a return because I already got refunded, therefore she knew about the issue. I clarified again to the cashier helping me that I was only there to purchase new food and give them the others to dispose of. I then ask if there was a manager in earlier and if there was one in now. She told me the names, and I said thank you I just wanted to know the names and proceeded to leave. Kayla gets on the phone and starts calling the manager. I reiterated to her that I only wanted the names. She continued calling and then as I said again that she didn't need to call them, she gets all rude towards me like I've offended her, when she was trying to be smart with me in the first place by proceeding to call when she heard me say I just wanted the names. So thank you so much Kayla for all your attitude, as if I wasn't already having a bad day, you were the icing on the cake! If you want extra attitude with your pet purchase, come to this location and check out with Kayla.

I honestly was disappointed when i got three fish and the guy put tap water in the bag instead of tank water. When i saw this i said something but he said "oh this water is from the tanks but filtered." B******* dude. Its been like two hours and they are already dead and on top of that i knew this would happen. I also received a half printed receipt at the register saying they can track the products via my account. Every time ive went they need a physical receipt. Lets hope tomorrow morning they can just give me my money back and maybe work on their practices. Truly disappointing that he would just lie like that. If you dont know fish dont take care of them for the quick buck.Now after reading the reviews I recommend going to the petco in burbank where they actually know about animals and have knowledge. Literally so disappointed.

The young man working at the cashier was having an issue with the machine and we tried to run my card 4 times but the machine was blacking out so he asked the lady at the next cash register to help him which i think her name was Gabby and the first time she came over she looked at the screen and told him to restart the machine so he did twice and it still didn't work so he told her again but this time she ignored him like 4 times in a row that he called her so i then told her that i think the machine is defective and maybe we should use a different machine so then she ignored me for a few seconds and then she answered me with a very high angry tone and attitude : I AM NOT A TECH and the cashier and people standing behind me all looked at her like really did you just really speak to a customer like that so i just told the cashier that was helping me if can go to a different cashier so we went to the last cashier and a lady was working their and he asked her if she could run me real quick and she just told me to take me to the cashier at the grooming station so he did and it worked and i then i asked him what was the name of the cashier that had an attitude and from what i remember her name was Gabby. But i would really like someone give me a call in regards to this so i can get to the bottom of this because i don't really want to leave a negative feedback on yelp just because of one employee and my office is 2 minutes away from the Petco store in north hollywood on victory blvd. thank you

always clean and well stocked - plenty of free parking. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very sweet.

Been here several times with my Sheepadoodle pup and am very satisfied.
